I have a Dyson DC31 handheld Vac that Dyson said was not repairable as parts were no longer available. VacCity have successfully fixed and serviced it at a very reasonable price. Turnaround was quick too. Highly recommended.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY ANYTHING FROM THE WEBSITE. Still waiting for a parcel from November 2020. Contacted them, unsuccessfully, on five occasions. The owner has made numerous excuse about poor postal services, not surprisingly, but his competitor got it to me in four days. Was going to buy three vacuum cleaners but purchased them elsewhere.

My order of a replacement turbo head was delivered promptly. It was of good, solid quality, made by Hoover, but unfortunately wasn’t the right fit for my Wertheim cleaner. In a phone call to Vac City, I found out that there was an the adaptor cord that might be necessary. Unfortunately this was not in stock, so I confirmed that I could return the item. I was happy to receive a full refund. Thank you. I would only say that I’m not sure how best to communicate with Vac City in writing as I tried the online form, email, this review site and Messenger before I received a response.

Unprofessional. I brought my Dyson to fix, was told they would call me to tell how much would cost. Not I cant even get my vacuum back. Owner is rude. I was told that they would call me back when I can pick my Dyson. No one called and they never answer their phone.

I ordered a vacuum bag and filter on November 26th. I received the bag but no filter. Emailed, no answer. Sent message on facebook no answer. Not good enough. You're very good at taking money but not looking after your customers. After almost 1 month I received a refund.

DO NOT DO AN ONLINE ORDER. Not responsive at all to online orders. I ordered refill vacuum bags over a month ago - less than $20 and not urgently required so didn't request the express postal service. However still no bags, no response to my emails requesting information about whether the bags have been dispatched from the store but money definitely taken from my account. I appreciate that these are difficult times however I have received 3 further items from other business (including interstate) in this period of time, including from Australia Post non-tracking service. I am only requesting communication and have noted the only responses from Vaccity seem to be via these reviews.

I ordered my vacuum bags online on 11 Sept 2020 from Qld. They weren't actually dispatched until 21 Sept 2020. A whole 10 days later. And finally arrived on 24 Sept 2020. So once sent, the travel time in Covid circumstances was reasonable.from Victoria to Qld. I've ordered things on Amazon from the US recently and they arrived quicker! I think it's poor service to take so long to despatch the order.

David at Vac City North Road was excellent. Fixed a hose connection for an EVS ducted system in a minute and was extremely helpful. Highly recommend this business.

My Dyson wasn't working as well as it used to when I first purchased it, so I took it into Vac City for a service. It is now working very well again and the cost of the service was reasonable. A very satisfied customer, thank you Vac City.

Recently our Lux ducted vacuum stopped working.

We dealt with the local Lux distributor, who told us that it could not be repaired and sold us an AEG ducted vacuum.

After this we decided to see if we could get the Lux ducted vacuum repaired elsewhere and had success with David and his team at Vac City, Murrumbeena.

When we rang Vac City, David mentioned to bring the unit down and he should be able to fix it as he had spares for many units.

Hence, we took our Lux ducted vacuum unit to Vac City. Later that week a technician diagnosed the problem with the printed circuit board. The technician phoned us to get the go ahead before proceeding with replacing the printed circuit board and the total cost came to $150. We picked up our repaired Lux ducted vacuum unit from Vac City, refitted it at home and it is now working again!

Thanks to all involved! What excellent service!

(The local Lux distributor accepted the return of the AEG ducted vacuum/refunded our money without incident).

Went to Vac City Murrumbeena about 4 years ago to buy a new vacuum cleaner. Had done my research and wanted to try both the Miele and the Sebo K3. David recommended the Sebo and so did Choice magazine. It was the best and David gave me a good price including a box of bags and 5 years free annual services. The vacuum hasn't skipped a beat. I love it! Vacuuming is no longer such a chore. Every year since I bought it, I have been bringing it in to David to service and I've never had any problems with Vac City or my vacuum. He said it should last me 20 years or more. Very happy with Vac City and my vacuum cleaner. HIghly recommend them.

Very bad customer service skills. I asked if they seller had a upright vaccum cleaner bags of a model I wanted on the phone and yes we do. I went down get to the shop, He had no idea what I wanted and no idea of the item number I asked for. Had other customers to deal with. He had no idea what he was doing and had to ring his boss for clues, pathetic excuse and I don't recommend these people. They lost a customer. Don't buy from them
