Trulli Woodfire Pizzeria reviews
69A wonderful providore stocking local produce; win, beer, spirits, jams, pasta, deli items and lots of ready-made meals to take home. Super friendly staff too. When we were here there was an outdoor pizza oven being built so I'm excited to come back for some pizza soon!
Great restaurant. Presentation, ambiance, service, all delivered with the customer's comfort and enjoyment in mind. The set menu will expand your culinary experience and reignite your senses. Eat, drink, and be merry.
Amazing restaurant in a one street small country town. Food BLEW MY MIND.degustation tasting menu out of this world with deliciousness. Staff wait and chef super friendly and helpful always has a smile on their faces.
Sensational authentic pizza, pasta, salads and exceptional top class service
It’s a direct trip to Italy without leaving Australia
Nice fresh food presented well. Entree and pizza was tasty. Staff did a good job considering how busy it was.
Pizza was good but not worth its price.
The Pugliese style roasted potatoes were not all roasted but microwaved and put under a salamander so not impressed.
Atmosphere was really good though!
Really good pizza. Interesting and diverse menu. Reasonably priced Italian wine. A bit noisy but it was packed out. Great deserts.
Was our way back to city from wilsons prom and were hungry and craving for pizza. Decided to try their pizza and were quite disappointed.
Tried their cappriciosa and pugliese. Generally, the pizza crust was not good enough, although it was from woodfire oven. Taste of pizzas were not good as well, just too flat consider themselves as a pizzeria. Hope they will improve the quality of their pizzas.
Had fond memories of their delicious pizzas last year so we decided to return to try their pasta, but they were far from disappointing. Fried calamari entree was definitely from frozen calamari, half were salty beyond belief. Mixed seafood pasta came with tomato sauce but it was so bland and tasted like canned, no fragrance, seafood tasted frozen. Mussels were so frozen I had to spit it out. Stick with their pizzas if you come here!
I went last Sunday with 11 other people. We were half an hour late due to an accident near there. They were very understanding. The food was amazing and service even better. We had a wonderful night. Thank you
Great pizza with good varied specials. The restaurant is lovely and open, but with quiet places to hide away for a date. Some of the best pizza in the area.
Amazing @Trulli! Had such a great time!
Food was delicious. The garlic focaccia was the best! And wood fired pizza was great too, the dough was tasty and plenty of toppings.
Price was very good and reasonable.
Outdoor court yard was great, very pretty and relaxing.
Staff was friendly.
Plenty if parking in the town for a short walk to Trulli.
Amazing Dairy and Gluten free pizza, would never know the difference. Finished off with sorbet. Perfect!
I'd give 10 stars if that were an option! We enjoyed the best pizza ever in this little Italy restaurant!
We went there at 8 which was kind of late to arrive there - I must admit.
Ordering mains and drinks worked out well. I really enjoyed the pizza. But then the Desaster began.
It took us over an hour from wanting desserts until having it.
The let us wait for over 20 minutes not even asking if we want dessert. So I had to walk up to the counter.
Lady who then came was really unfriendly and was focusing on telling me how her awesome affogato was made. It ended up being the worst dessert I ever had and it was also not Italian what they pretend to be.
So affogato was a ice-cream that tasted like anis (which I hate) but was supposed to be Tiramisu.
Espresso was also not drinkable (was super acetous) which you would expect someone that pretends to be Italian could handle a coffee machine.
Very very deep disappointment which really ruined the night for me.
Last thing: we asked for a starter ended up getting something else that we ordered which was of course 25 bucks instead of 10 bucks what we ordered - next thing what was super unprofessional about this place.
Sorry not to follow other reviews but I simply had a very bad experience.
You could put this restaurant on Lygon Street in Melbourne and it'd outsell everyone there. Great food!
This place offers seriously good pizza. We always stop here for lunch when we go camping to Prom or stay in Inverloch. They also offer gluten free pizza options which is as good as the normal one.
Excellent service and outstanding seafood pizza, salad was refreshing. Ice cream was delicious, cookies and cream, strawberry and cream.
OMG.this pizza is ridiculous. It is so good, I dare not admit the lengths I would go to, to have this heavenly piece of wood fired bliss in my mouth once again!
Truly wonderful pizza considering the remote location. We ordered a lamb raggu pizza and the garlic focaccia. Both were delicious and cooked on a really tasty bread base. Thoroughly recommended if you’re staying in the area.
