Trulli Woodfire Pizzeria reviews
69 Very authentic flavours, service was food was.
Would absolutely recommend Trulli Cucina Povera.
Wow wow wow. Has the most incredible dinner at Trulli’s restaurant tonight. The food was absolutely incredible and the service was even better. We left feeling like royalty. Can’t recommend enough
A beautiful meal which took us to northern Italy with service that reflects the welcoming heart of Gippsland!
Great to see Cucina Povera "re-open". Simple, great food at reasonable prices. Well done, ragazzi.
Great food, awesome pizza. The deli and liquor store are very tempting. Hard to beat Sailor's Grave beers, especially on tap. Marquee could do with some better decor.
Came here during the Easter long weekend on the way back to Melbourne. No other shops are open in town and we heard good reviews about this place. The menu is simple Italian dishes like pasta, pizza and a few small dishes. We ordered three different pizzas and they all have very different flavours but nothing too exciting. We also found the slices a little thick to our liking. The best thing out of all was the mussels entree. The sauce that it came in is really good. The linguine with mussels have the same sauce, they just give you less mussels and replace it with the pasta. There are outdoor areas for kids with blocks and 4-of-a-kind boards to entertain the little ones.

Great little spot with lots of outdoor seating that is pet friendly.
The pizzas were really nice
Great staff and accomodating. Cannot be any better. Gave us some good pizza which was scrumptious and delish. Outdoor area looks amazing
Pizza was high quality but not a lot of variety. Nearly every pizza with mushrooms, which didn’t impress my wife. The pizzas are expensive at $26 to $30 when there’s really more a take away feel about the experience (pizzas served in cardboard boxes, wine in plastic). There was hardly anyone there on a balmy Saturday night so the vibe was pretty flat. Service from a bunch of kids who were efficient but not very knowledgeable and not particularly friendly. I won’t be rushing back.
Trulli are brilliant. They punch way above their weight and are better than 99pc of Italian Bistros in Melbourne.
Highly recommended.
Weak (tasteless) coffee, overpriced pizza which wasn't really that nice. Despite the high prices everything was served on disposable tubs, cups and pizza boxes.
Pizza was awesome and the dough was some of the best dough I had ever tasted. Recommend to come here!
Amazing food, lovely enclosed outdoor area. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back!
Trulli recently provided pizzas for the Targo Florio rally. As a coeliac I ate the BEST gluten free pizza I have EVER had. Living in Trentham, when I hanker for pizza next the drive will be worthwhile. Thanks team!
Clever outdoor eating concept adopted for the last couple of years.
Absolutely delicious pizza and tiramisu
Friendly helpful staff
Can’t wait to go back to try something else
The most incredible wood-fired pizzas. Beautiful thin base, quality, local ingredients. The pastas are also amazing. Highly recommend if you’re going past on your way to the Prom, or staying locally in Leongatha and surrounds.
Trulli outdoor was a really enjoyable way to spend Sunday afternoon. The pizza is wood fired and incredible.the ragout could have had pieces of lamb but it still tasted amazing!
Beware everything comes in a takeaway containers even though menu says dine in, really really disappointed taking piss out off people COVID finished long time ago. It's the completely unnecessary wine in plastic cups that tipped me over the edge. It's time the service industry brought back service and stopped treating customers with contempt.
Great food however poor service, warm coffee, full restaurant pricing for takeaway food in takeaway boxes. Wine in plastic cups and having to order via phone. Really disappointing as we reccommend people to visit here.used to that is.
P. S Thanks for quick response, we did actually try and order at the counter but told to order at the table. With regard to the cost of ingredients, we ordered a lamb pasta with not much lamb in it for $30.in a paper bowl and bamboo fork
