Trofeo Estate reviews
74Lovely service for our wine tasting - our server was knowledgeable and professional, making sure no one missed out. Estate is beautifully presented, and we would love to return one day and try your food.
Friday night dinner and had a great experience! Wine, service and atmosphere on point. We had the lamb and the beetroot tart as mains and seriously one of the best cooked lamb dishes I've had! Definitely worth a try.
Pleasant place with friendly staff and good service. The food is a little poor though. The asian greens was more Chinese vegetables, as it was just bok Choy doused in oyster sauce with no fresh flavour or variety.
Had a really lovely lunch - I got the pork belly and shortbread for dessert. Wines were very nice.
Relaxed, pleasant and friendly lunch spot. Wines are great and there is an interesting and delicious range. The vineyard is beautiful and there are lots of out door dining options. Staff are friendly and helpful. Wines are matched to the menu and there is the cellar door for tastings and purchases.
Service was OK. We arrived at 10: 45 and waited until 12pm for our meals, all the while they were not busy.
All the meals were along the same lines with some addition of sides to meals. The recommended serving size for the feta side was deplorable. $5 for less than a teaspoon of feta is absolutely not acceptable. The food was tasty however the serving size was not for the glutton. Won’t be returning.
It's pretty although that's it. Lunch choice uninteresting, my meal was forgotten! Friends had already eaten there lunch when it came. Not friendly service, coffee mediocre. Won't be back in afraid unless I hear standards have improved
Tasted some excellent wines and took a few home. Friendly staff and such a nice garden to relax in while you enjoy a glass of wine.
We had an awesome day yesterday at Trofeo Estate. (SUN 21/1). Food was delicious, with generous portion size, and great service. Lovely relaxed atmosphere created by excellent acoustic guitar player. Claire served us on the Cellar Door- she was knowledgeable, fun and quirky. She does an excellent job with wine tastings and is a very memorable part of our visit to Trofeo Estate- A must visit when in the region!
I obtained a voucher to attend a 3 course meal at the restaurant. I attended for lunch but discovered that it would all count for a 2 course lunch, so I paid for the lunch as per normal rate and booked for an evening session. The building is impressive, with high barn like ceiling. The service is great and the wine choices moderately priced. The outdoor seating area would be ideal on a warmer day/night.
I hadn't heard of the establishment, even though I have done tours in the region on regular occurrences. I discovered they use huge terracotta pots to store the vintages, and this makes their wines unique amongst the range on offer in the region. I would recommend that people should include the winery in a tour of the region.
Unbelievable food, beautiful location and delicious wine.a winning combination. Picked up the estate's leaflet on the Queenscliff - Sorrento ferry, and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were brilliant, and made us feel so at home. Definitely recommend, will be visiting again soon.
Amazing food, view, lovely staff and 10 points for Gryffindor all around amazing restaurant to enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon
Love this place! Nice environment, nice place, nice staffs and nice food! Highly recommended! My sister in law got married here and we come back a s visit everyone we in town thank you and keep up a good work!
Disappointing.
Lovely venue and picturesque surroundings but our brunch was very ordinary. Coffee ok but food took way too long and they weren't busy. Poached eggs served almost hard boiled. Toast thin and dry, no butter or salt and pepper. Scrambled eggs nearly cold, avocado and grains was nice but overall all 4 diners were disappointed. Staff apologized and refunded one meal but we wouldn't eat there again.
