Trofeo Estate reviews
74What an amazing setting for equally amazing wines. Do yourself a favour and go get “Gary’d” by the magic man on the cellar door. Highly recommend.
What a gem of a place! Impeccable service, produce, wine and venue! The "grazing" platters were anything but "grazing" - we were so impressed with the servings and how tasty it all was! Thank you for a delightful experience; I can honestly say it was one of the best wineries I am yet to visit and there's a lot that I can compare to!
What an exceptional winery. I could not fault the service, platters and wines. The place is well maintained and the vineyard is simply a work of art. I would highly recommended this place to all. Especially on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
Our wine tasting was a great experience, with information provided about qualities of wines, difference involved in making them, smell and taste explained. The lady serving us spoke with such passion, knowledge and enthusiasm that we were wholeheartedly consumed by this amazing experience.
We ordered 2 shared platters: seafood and harvest ones. It was fresh, delicious, beautifully presented and filling.
We chose this winery randomly on the day of our visit but most definitely will be back for more of their picturesque site, good food and great variety of wine.
Thank you so much Trofeo for looking after myself and my guests at our wedding day. With Covid it was a long and drawn out process but the end result was excellent and all changes made up for. Thank you to Lisa and Marty especially and the fantastic service, wine and food provided. It was a wholesome and enjoyable wedding because you guys made it so.
The white wines are mundane (we didn't taste the reds), none of them telling me I should have another glass. The Harvest platter was good but at $65 too expensive. My suggestion is visit Stillwater just along the road and try their platter, much better value at $45. The setting on the deck is better as are the wines from neighbouring Crittenden Estate.
Just wow. Absolutely amazing staff who are so hilarious and attentive, food to die for and wines that go down so very easily, you can't help but take some home!
We went for lunch, and while the menu is limited to two sharing items, the Harvest Board at $65 per for two was an unexpected delight. Pair it with one of the wine flights - essentially 60 ml pours of a number of their wines - and you have a enough food and drink for a relaxing hour or so with a mellow soundtrack playing from the speakers.
I have to be honest, the front of the estate seems harsh, but the grassed area out the back is lovely. We sat on the verandah, out of the wind and sun, but still feeling enveloped by the verdant grounds that include a mature tree.
There were tables inside but given the weather, we felt that sitting enclosed would have wasted the day.
The staff were lovely, knowledgeable but not intrusive, and our server was able to answer every question about each grazing board without having to duck back in to check with the kitchen.
I'm not sure this is a winery you'd want to take younger children as the menu is not chips and chicken nuggets, but if you do, I've no doubt they'd be made welcome and the outside area at least is generally contained with lovely grass to play on.
Beautiful estate, great wine (aged in terracotta vessels for a more natural flavour) and excellent food. And the friendly staff make it a great place to visit A must visit.
Had a lovely lunch on New Year’s day with the family. Good outdoor setting, friendly staff and good lunch at a reasonable price. Disappointed with the quality of wines they produce. Also, had to ring them to return the deposit that I paid for reservation.
We ordered a hamper to be delivered to my Aunty for her birthday and we couldn’t be happier with the professional and kind service we received. The is such a lovely place with amazing wines and produce. Thank you Trofeo Estate my Aunty loved the hamper and it definitely brightened her birthday in ISO.
Trofeo is such a beautiful winery with the most friendly staff. I've been there on multiple occasions and every time I'm delighted with the most incredible food, wonderful staff and of course delicious wine.
Trofeo Estate is definitely a unique and delightful stop for anyone visiting the Mornington Peninsula!
What an absolutely amazing place!
Visiting from Perth and Trofeo Estate has been the highlight so far.
From the pristine gardens, the sensational wines to the incredible and delicious food, Trofeo is an absolute class act.
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff and followed by a visit from Chef Simon to make sure all the meals are up to scratch. Even shouted us a bottle of bubbles for my brother in law's birthday. We really had a fabulous time and can't recommend this place enough - especially the food!
Excellent service from the staff. The food is amazing! The Wild Mushroom risotto & Coffee Pork Loin were both delicious. A very enjoyable lunch
Lovely place and lovely people. Special shout out to Salvatore for being so attentive to me and helping me have a great experience without me even asking and I was having a great time anyway. Staff, service, view and the food were all amazing.
One word to describe this restaurant experience would be Amazing! Not only is the food and wine fantastic but the restaurant staff are so kind and helpful. One of my favourite places on the peninsula to dine.
There are so many wineries in the Peninsula region. We visited this winery yesterday for the first time and it's a real stand out. We had an amazing afternoon here. The food is absolutely delicious - for lunch we had saganki, calamari and a plate of cured meats, pickled veggies and cheese - all so tasty! We thoroughly enjoyed the cellar door tasting led by friendly, knowledgeable staff. The pinot gris, shiraz and sparkling were our favourites. The grounds of the estate are stunning and picturesque. On a warm, sunny day it is a delight to sit outside and soak up the scenes. We will definitely be back!
Great view, food is perfect it comes in 5 mins and tastes good with good portion! Nice and welcoming staffs and very delicious Skin Contact wine. I have a relaxing and pleasant afternoon here
Food was excellent. Service amazing. Real Italian feel. Great wines and great portions. View of sunset beautiful. Highly recommend the Skin Contact
Awesome location. Beautiful scenery. Chef even came out to talk to us and personally recommended a dessert. Easily coming back here.
