My Husband and I had dinner there for our wedding anniversary.
The service was fabulous with the wait staff attentive but not overbearing
The food and presentation of the dishes was exceptional and extremely delicious. Everything was well balanced and complemented each course
We will definitely be back

The service from our waiter Freddy was brilliant. He was friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. Great food and atmosphere also.

I attended a charity event run by the kinda people at the beautiful Trofeo Estate yesterday and it was simply fantastic. Wonderful staff, amazing setting, delicious food, glorious wine and fantastic atmosphere. I will certainly be back to this wonderful hidden gem.

We are so grateful to Jen, Mitch and the team at Trofeo Estate for all their hard work in making our wedding day more wonderful than we could have imagined. With every little detail in safe hands, we were able to enjoy every minute of the day with our guests. The food was incredible and looking back on photos, we couldn't have chosen a more stunning setting. We'd love to come back and do it all again! Thanks team Trofeo! X

I went today for the $57 weekday 3 course lunch. I can only find one tiny fault with the food, and no fault with ambiance or service. The food was absolutely delicious, apart from a bit of a sad strawberry on the cheese board, which was one of the desert options. The strawberries in my marshmallow and strawberry desert were perfect.
The barramundi was amazing.crispy skin with gorgeous salad and dressing.
I loved the meals were not intimidatingly large, but the options were there to create a bigger meal with extras if needed.
The Salmon Tataki entrée was perfect.
The bathrooms were well presented and clean. I do love a fancier, surprise and delight WC experience though. It did not impact my enjoyment of the day.
Totally enjoyed it.
Thanks Team Trofeo.

Absolutely sensational… first off we entered the tasting room to try so of the best wines the area has to offer … tip you must try the sparkling. Then you enter the restaurant for a seasonal tasting menu, house made bread with local beets kicks it off.house made crumpets are outstanding …very clever menu showcasing local ingredients.a must visit if your in the area or defiantly worth a drive from Melbourne.
Outstanding!

We loved our Fathers Day tasting experience! Each dish was so simple but was made to perfection. We couldn’t fault anything from the truffle white beans and focaccia to the oysters with shallots and lemon, to the beef tartare. It was all devine - including the service and the delicious wine tasting at the end.

The food is great. But not my preferred feast style food viking feast style fit for a big feast style kind of servings. In 3 to 4 hours I only got small amounts of food. I was starving after 3 hours getting these servings every hour or minutes. I could go to a pizza place and pay 15 to 20 dollars for a massive meal and get fed like a king in 15 minutes. Not 86 dollars per person for a meal for a sparrow.

Wonderful birthday lunch for my mum. Friendly staff from the moment we walked in. Had a tasting at the cellar door (absolutely loved the Pinot and Shiraz), and then proceeded to have the set menu mid-week lunch. The food was exceptional from the bread to the entrees, mains and desserts. A warm and inviting dining room and lovely staff. Can’t wait to return soon!

I had a lovely first Mother’s Day here at Trofeo Estate. The ambience and vibe of Trofeo is lovely and peaceful.
The meals here are spectacular. The portion of the food was definitely enough for two us. By the time main course came we couldn’t finish it all. We even added the supplement of the truffle chips, which was a very big serve for a bowl of chips. We were not expecting that. The dessert was really nice and not overly sweet which I prefer.
I can say I really enjoyed my time here, I would definitely come back again on a normal day.

My sympathy for increased costs and lack of staff training however - $46.00 for a piece of Turkish bread with fontilina cheese, prosciutto and rocket? Come on - that’s ridiculous. And please don’t get me started on the cheese board. You guys need to understand fair value and yours is not.

My family and I went here after a morning at the beach. Enjoyed the set share menu on the garden terrace, which was a perfect amount of food, great menu to share on a warm day and beautifully presented. It was a hot day, but lovely sitting outside under the umbrellas and enjoying a glass of bubbles, followed by one of their chardonnays, which was excellent.

My sister had her little 9 month old with us in her pram and the staff were very accommodating finding space suitable for us and in the shade.

Thanks for a lovely lunch and experience. Would definitely return.

Unprofessional establishment and wedding planner. Had a agreement with the venue Booked all our vendors for our wedding sent out all invites and Now lost Thousands of Dollars with No compensation or communication Due to wedding planner Ignoring ALL EMAILS and CALLS Not even booking in our wedding Due To her own personal vendettas and ego.

What a wonderous combination of foods and delectible wines. Each of the four courses complimented and carried those before and that which followed. The servings were of ample size. A rustic setting in a voluminous building which used to be a passionfriut cannery back in the day.great outdoor spaces as well to enjoy. Great staff ready to assist. A lovely day had by all. Thankyou

Wonderful place, we have done a tonne of wine tastings and this was up there with the best of them due to the lady who served us and also the quality of wines. We will definitely be returning here many times. Great outlook also

The Mornington Peninsula is blessed with many good wineries, and several of which boast excellent restaurants. These vary from casual eateries to fine dining hatted establishments. Most serve what you might call "modern Australian"; there are some variations on this, but that's the norm. Of course, a highlight is to be able to enjoy the in-house wines, which are uniformally excellent in this area. Trofero is easy to recommend as one of the better places to eat on the Peninsula. It's a lunch-only place with a set menu (although they are happy to accommodate dietary preferences) designed by an accomplished executive chef with a hatted pedigree. The set menu price is about $80, which we thought was excellent value for the quality of food we enjoyed. You dine in a spacious, comfortable, well-lit room, and you are looked after by enthusiastic, helpful, efficient, and knowledgable staff. The food is sensational. Every dish highlights refined treatment of top quality produce. The flavours are beautifully balanced and the serving sizes are perfect. The excellent terracotta aged wines complement the food to perfection. For about $100 a head you can enjoy one of the best lunches on the Mornington Peninsula. We will definitely be returning to Trofero.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. Came here because of the great reviews but was not able to eat or drink when we visited. It was a busy Saturday and the staff refused to serve even a glass of wine. We were disappointed that they had time to make coffee but would not pour us a glass of wine. We went outside to enjoy the view instead and saw that other people had bottles of wine on their tables. We offered to buy a bottle and was still refused. I recommend to make a booking ahead of time for those who really want to go and hopefully encounter a more accommodating batch of staff.

Fantastic wines, surprisingly good for someone used to great wines living in the McLaren vale wine region. Food platter was the best I ever had. This is coming from a foodie.
