Steak was absolutely amazing and so were the veggies! Only downfall was the entrees and mains come out at the same time both nights we come for dinner so our steaks went cold the first night. 2nd night the main meals were re-cooked.

We love the Restaurant Menu, and the “Bell Street window” table we normally get. The Ribs and the Eye Fillet from the Grill are perfect

As I've had a previously bad experience, we have not had dinner in the pub for quite a while. It was really good. No one on the table had fault with their food, it was great! Waitress was very good. Overall what a great improvement over the last few years! Thank you!

Great meal with great friends, our first visit since covid and the renovations and we were delighted, the place was packed on a Friday night, however not too noisy, a friendly family atmosphere!

Had a great meal with my husband and son. We all enjoyed our meal, the service was great and very friendly and the decor in the pub looks beautiful. That’s why we keep going back.

Wow - what a menu, we were spoilt for choice for what we could enjoy for lunch. I was excited to visit to see the renovations, as it has changed so much from the last time I was here and it didn't dissappint. What a great venue, great speedy service for drinks and meals too, even though they were very busy, you couldn't tell. The staff were well trained and professional - we will definitely be back.

Great food. Staff were very friendly. Will definately be coming back again. Food came out pretty quick (we were there for an early dinner)
Only recommendation comes from my son and it would be to add a kids chicken Parma to the menu and have some colouring activities for the kids!

Tables could have been spaced a little further apart as it felt very close to other diners especially being in current restrictions. Meals were very delicious, and nice size. There were 4 of us and the table a little small. Next time we would book for 6.

I walked in with a empty tummy and low moral but I walked out with a full belly and a can do additude. I really enjoyed my meal tonight partnered but a delightful draught. With large meal portions and great service I'll definitely come again!

We had a family lunch at the Torquay pub. Everyone enjoyed the flavours they were presented and the atmosphere was good. Staff were efficient and friendly. Worth a stop.

Dropped by for some food - an amazing meal, lamb was tender, steak cooked to perfection, great portions and seamless service. Will be back again!

They stop serving drinks at 11pm apparently. Rejecting everyone im not 18 anymore I just want somewhere to sit and have a drink. This was not the place

Lovely food but not a large menu but enough choices very comfortable venue with a very knowledgeable waiter who helped with allergies

Look the food was ok but our drinks were all ice, our mushroom sauce had no mushrooms but most importantly.lCovid-19 restrictions and rules are not being followed.
We were seated when no one else was in the area. By the time we were eating we had 15 other people around us. They were not 1.5 m apart. Our table was already set. Menus were not disposable or laminated.
Supporting local business is important but they need to follow the rules for our protection.

The korean chicken wings were boiled not grilled. Smothered with sweet sauce. Its an insult to a simple Korean dish. It’s totally unacceptable not up to hygiene standards!

Excellent meals - Steaks were sensational, chips and vegies crispy and the gravy was delicious- great work team - plus the Bells Beach Lager on tap was a bonus!

The Torquay Hotel has always been a great establishment. Located in the heart of Torquay it includes a fantastic beer garden, live music on a Friday and Saturday night, Pool tables, indoor dining area and a gaming room. The restaurant menu caters for all, with a fantastic selection. We were all extremely happy with our meals! A must to visit!

Had a steak dinner. The steak was cooked correctly BUT delivered with a frozen chunk of garlic butter on top rendering steak pretty cold.
Why would you do that?
Chips were good but the salad was dry as the Sahara desert, no dressing whatever and useless.
So all in all it had potential but didn't get over the line.
It was $38 not well spent.
