Ticketek Australia reviews
76No one answers the phone, no help what so ever very disappointing customer service or should l say no customer service full stop
As for Hins Cheung's ticket issue, the ticket price in pre sales is different from the current ticket price, and the price in pre sales and public sales is reduced compared with the current price, so do I have to pay a higher price than the audience who recently grabbed tickets and sit in a further and worse seat? This is very unfair. The Internet saw some of ticketek's reply on this matter, very unreasonable, fans grab tickets in advance with what to pay a higher price and blame us itself, and even this is related to legal issues, I hope ticketek gives a reasonable solution.
Still waiting for a refund after Ticktek charged me twice! I have messaged via facebook, their online forms. Three weeks later still nothing worst service I’ve ever encountered.
How this company is still in business is beyond me. Zero customer service. If I could give them a -5 I would. All I wanted to do after buying my tickets was get in touch with someone to upgrade the tickets. But they don't have anyone answering calls. What an absolute joke. So they ask me to lodge a case. I do that and still 3 days later no response. All the upgraded tickets are now gone. This company is a disgrace. I'll be lodging a complaint to the ACCC.
Such scam! Choose your own seats? Only if it suits Ticketek. I couldn’t choose premium seats that I’m paying for with this option because it had a seat next to it we didn’t want to pick up. We had to downgrade in another reserve in a different section of the theatre because I couldn’t “choose my own seats” then to top it off only certain reserves and dates had concession…? ! Seems a bit unfair and discriminatory. As promoters and directors I would think twice about using an agency like this as it turned me off wanting to even go to the performance now. Not happy customers
Ticketek must have the WORST sale system in history. "Ticketek Lounge" is meant to create an "equal opportunity" for everyone to access tickets by putting everyone in the same waiting queue and then selecting customers at random rather than in chronological order. Only, this seems to make your chance of getting tickets be entirely based on luck. I guess I must be pretty darn unlucky, as every time I've joined a Ticketek Lounge, I seem to wait in the queue forever and when I finally get through the only seats left are absolutely rubbish, despite having waited in the queue for so long. Surely there has to be a better system for organising sales
Ticket office staff are lovely and very helpful.
Customer service line is impossible to get through to and they never email or call back
Tried ringing and got hung up on every time over 2 days. Sent an email which was answered 3 weeks after Voucher had been purchased. Worst customer service I’ve encountered for years.
It could have been a simple response with one phone call.
Still haven’t received a refund for the tickets I purchased in 2019 for Magic Mike live show.
You cannot call tiketek. You cannot get any info from them.
I want my $240 back! Disgusting service. How hard is it to refund peoples money?
A call centre that only operates between 9 - 5pm and hangs up on you when you call between business hours. Welcome to Australia in the 1950's.ohh hang on.
That's what happens when you operate in a dueopoly, you have no reason to improve the service you offer. Time for a market disruptor and for booking services to be opened up to multiple operators to share venues and events.
Hands down the worst customer service in Australia. When you ring them the automated service just hangs up on you instead of putting you into a queue, forcing you to fill out a form in which they never get back to you. I purchased refundable tickets and simply cannot contact them to get the refund. Honestly one huge scam.
If I could give zero stars I would.
0 stars if I could.
Ticketek refunded the wrong tickets for an event that was rescheduled and refunded other tickets I had purchased instead without asking me. My tickets were then subsequently sold and I was unable to get any others due to the event being a sell out. Absolutely devastated.
To mirror the other comments. Impossible to contact and then by the time they email back it is far too late and the damage is done
Would give 0 STARS if I could! You can't speak with anyone (phones are voice recordings only), ticket offices are shut, the voicemail says send queries via their website which you do but get no reply. Attempts to contact on social media finally got someone who asked my details, which I gave, then a week and no response. *THE WORST* company, it actually makes me not want to see shows where this agency is the ticket selling agent because you know if something goes happens you'll never see your money again.
I've had a terrible experience booking tickets with your company and would not recommend it to anyone and if possible, never ever use your services again.
1. The lack of seat selection, what is that garbage? Airline tickets, any other event ticketing service, restaurant booking services all allow for seat selection. Instead the only option was to "accept potentially obstructed" views or close the browser window and try again and again until I was happy with the seating section location let alone the row or seats themselves.
2. After jumping through all those hoops, finding a decent section. I went to purchase the tickets, but was prompted with the usual "Sign Up/Sign In" page to which I signed up, nothing was out of the ordinary except for the lack of autofill options for my details, after completing the sign up I was redirected to the Ticketek Homepage instead of the checkout with the tickets I painstaking selected. I had to go through the whole; get randomly allocated seats, check if they're ok, if not close the browser and try again
3. The ridiculous terms and conditions one has to PAY $23.95 for on top of the $5.95 handling fee to be ELIGIBLE for a refund which should already be basic responsibility for the service being sold. And the explicit denial of coverage for COVID-19 lockdowns in the Terms and Conditions of this "opt-in" refund scam.
If I could give 0 stars for my experience today I would have.
Absolutely awful service. I will try everything in my power in the future to not buy tickets to events from them. Due to covid, my refund request took 3 MONTHS to action. AFTER they communicated that their turnaround time for processing refunds was 30 DAYS.
You know what did work? Me going to box office in person and then calling consumer affairs Victoria on them. Once I said they may be in breach of the consumers act and I was not hesitant to get vcat involved, the refund was magically processed.
If someone is still waiting for a refund, I strongly urge you to sic consumer affairs on them.
Zero stars if I could. Purchased refundable tickets for an event…still haven’t been able to get a refund. Never going through this company again.
Absolute terrible customer service. No customer service on weekends? How is this an event company but operates on a Bank hours schedule?
Pitiful that they give you a number too ring.give you 'On-Line options' but in NO WAY can you get to speak to a 'person'. Then get cut off. VERY POOR!
If I could give no stars I would! I will never use Ticketek again! We brought tickets to see Rod Stewart in 2019 for show dates in 2020, that was postponed till 2022 and we were prepared to wait instead of getting a refund. We have not received any tickets at all and only have the payment stub with our order details. I have tried to make contact numerous times but the office is closed and email address for enquiring is non existent! When you go to the website and look up cancellations or postponed tickets Rod Stewart isn’t even on the list or in the search bar! So what the hell are we to do now Ticketek? Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever seen!
I was in the same situation with everyone comments here and was very annoyed with the lack of information/clear communication. The only solution seems to be go directly to the box office and let them sort it out.
