We had a wonderful stay! It was a very easy check in and our room was ready really early. Room itself was clean and spacious. Loved the little balcony:) Top location with everything walking distance! Breakfast had a great selection, good coffee as well!
But mainly staff is really lovely! They just go above and beyond:)

Have had many stays in Sydney Westin so time to give Melbourne Westin a go.
Nice clean room, comfy bed, luxurious bathroom, modern room with a nice view of a court yard.
Light breakfast, coffee and drinks down stairs. (Alot of crumbs on the floor and stains on the velvet sofas is not a good look for a five star hotel though)
Sydney Westin has a more luxurious feeling and better maintenance (Melbourne had a lot of scratched plastered walls in the hallways) but still a nice stay at the Melbourne Westin

I ordered the High Tea home delivery option for my partners birthday. Highly recommend. Such a wonderful treat and surprise to have something like this available through lockdown.

Ordered a High Tea through Providoor. It was excellent. Sweets, savories and scones were all delicious. Even came with a cardboard cake stand; a lovely addition. It was delivered as ordered, and packed safely.

This review is for the Maker & Monger x Westin High Cheese Tea.

We've been curious about the High Cheese collab with @makerandmonger at the Westin for a while and with the Melbourne Money offer it's the perfect time to go. #highcheese
.
At $98 it doesn't include sparkling on arrival but does include all the tea (including the option to have iced tea!) coffee or hot chocolate you want. It's more than usual for high tea, but cheese is $$$ as we discovered the other year (I made cheese toasties on stage and it was terrifying!). I can't write too much as I know, well nothing, about cheese but everything was good, nothing was blah.
.
Tip - Do pay attention to which cheese pairs with the crackers (it's the shot glass) instead of inhaling them as we did lol.
.
Service was very tall and friendly. We opted for a later time cause someone forgot to book till on the day, though having a way off peak time means you'll be less rushed but also means you miss the 4pm cut off for lighting.
.
Love cheese. We're going to another cheese event with MFWF x Maker & Monger in August.

$98, with cash back offer like $80pp

Stayed for 5 nights. Rooms poorly maintained. Lights switch themselves on and off automatically in the middle of the night. Asked for it to be fixed, but nothing happened. Bedsheets feel like calico. Quilt cover made of plastic that sparks when I turn over. Television needed replacing long ago. Same old breakfast every morning.

Westin is superbly located in the heart of the city and such an easy walk or tram ride to all Melbourne highlights. The hotel is well maintained, the staff very friendly, courteous and helpful. Their signature cocktails are bang on. We loved the gym, spa, steam, sauna and lap pool after a long walking/shopping day and perfect way to freshen up before heading out for dinner in Hardware Lane. Melbourne is coming back to life and the Westin is a top place to spend the weekend exploring.

Whoa! So happy with my stay! Got this hotel for a excellent price at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ I love this resort and I'm extremely grateful I stayed here for less than what I normally pay.

Wonderful hotel! The service was fabulous, the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were well appointed and clean and the view of the city from our room was amazing.

I went to the westin for a high tea and was blown away by the amazing service myself and the group received. We were exceptionally catered for and every staff member was attentive and friendly. I will definitely be recommending and coming back. The food was also very delicious. It was nice to be in such a great vibe of a place and atmosphere

Best location in Melbourne luxury rooms and helpful staff probably best to enjoy the surrounding eateries to get the real taste of Melbourne

With snap lockdowns occurring quite unexpectedly and quite often these days in Melbourne, I would firmly advise you to not trust in being supported or respected during these confusing and difficult times by The Westin Hotel.
I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of professionalism, compassion, and respect shown to me over the last Melbourne lockdown. I had paid to stay on the weekend of June 5th, however, Melbourne was completely locked down from May 27th through June 10th. I contacted The Westin, in an attempt to reschedule my stay, unfortunately, I had apparently booked through last minute.com who are a third party, and I was informed it was out of the Westin's hands and I would have to organize rescheduling with them directly.
I attempted to contact Lastminute.com with FIVE separate emails and zero responses.
During this time I received a cancellation email from The Westin.
I contacted The Westin directly once again as I was quite confused as to why the room had been canceled, and I was told the reason why it was canceled is that I didn't show! I was not legally permitted to show up, so how could it be canceled? I had also contacted them before June 5th as I mentioned for instructions for my up-and-coming stay!
I contacted The Westin a third time, believing they would be compassionate during such a confusing "PANDEMIC" to inform them of the ignorance and complete lack of respect I was receiving from Lastminute.com, which promotes and sells rooms in their hotel and they were not interested in resolving my loss. Once again protect yourself and stay with a more reputable hotel that will honor your stay in these difficult times for all of us.

I recently went here for a pre Comedy Festival drink to meet a friend. It was a lovely hotel and the staff were friendly and attentive. I had a lovely Cosmopolitan cocktail. Lovely atmosphere and relaxed music vibe around. Will come again to explore a bit more. It was only upon leaving that I realised there was a special cocktail menu just for the comedy festival and cheaper too if your ticket was shown. Will remember for next year! Really nice overall.

There's no place like the Westin. It's the staff that make it especially Ian at the concierge and Steven the night manager. We even got a 4pm late check out no extra charge. The waitresses even looked after our 1.5 year old so we could eat breakfast for 10 minutes. Rooms are beautiful, the hotel is stunning. Love it will come back over and over.
I've stayed at 100's of hotels but the staff here definitely make you feel welcome and special.

We had a High Seas session on their lounge before and we really satisfied with their professional and friendly service. I must say that it’s more than our expectations:) Love their staff as you communicate with them like a friend, not a staff! It’s definitely a WOW for them. We’re looking forward to staying with them in future.

Rooms are great, spacious, clean with a City view. The pool, the gym, the sauna were great. We had a special welcome from the hotel and we felt really well looked after. Thank you very much for making our stay memorable. We utterly enjoyed our stay here and we would love to come back soon.

After booking a Luxury escape weekend inwich we paid for an upgraded city view, we were very disappointed that apparently due to them being busy we were put in a room with the main view being the roof of the ongoing metro link tunnel.
Its not good enough to say sorry we were busy after we had already paid for the room.
I will be posting this on Social Media so others wont be caught like we were!
