Central meeting place, carpark across the road, trains and buses opposite, trams, comfortable and classic.
Friendly staff.

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HotelBully.com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!

The location is excellent, the hotel is located across the road from Southern Cross Station. It's also right by the tram stop so it was very easy to get around the city. I stayed in the King Guestroom. It was well sized and very clean. Service at check in and check out was great, the staff were very friendly. Would stay here again!

Fabulous hotel. The front foyer smelt delicious on entry, the staff were welcoming and helpful at all times.
The Hotel is located very well, it's only a short walk to almost everywhere.
The room was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable.
The only real gripe was that the tea/coffee/sugar was not replenished each day.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my family and friends.

Easy to get to from the airport and the station. Not bad seminar facilities. Reasonable prices for CBD Melbourne.

Fantastic. Off the train and straight to check-in even though we arrived very early. Very elegant too.

Lovely boutique hotel in the MELBOURNE cbd, well served by trams and is closest to the Spencer St train station.

Check in was speedy but not engaging or smiley. Room quite small but bed and decor very clean and comfy. No bar or restaurant while we were here Sept 18 due to refurb. Concierges helpful.

Rooms had rats! Complained to the reception and was told by someone by the name of glen that “that’s apart of life” disgusting.has ruined my melbourne experience.

Nice place to stay. Love the renovated rooms that try to keep with the original building heritage and period. Buffet breakfast is ok.

A delightful hotel in the Melbourne CBD. In front of the Southern Cross Station. 5 minutes to the Southbank restaurants and very close to the principal attractions of the city. Guests can park their cars in a very comfortable indoor parking area. All girls and boys of the staff were very attentive with us. Especially Chiara Sorrentino who tried to explain us in Italian the rules of our visit. A great memory of our visit in Melbourne. Rooms prices are very convenient.

Good location for accessing public transport, though it's at the complete opposite end of the interesting part of Melbourne (IMO). The room was pleasant enough, but riddled with interior design oversights, such as the soap tray in the shower protruding too far into the space so you find yourself standing sideways to avoid scratching yourself, or the towel rack at the wrong end of the bathroom, or the flush buttons behind the toilet seat (so you have to open and close every time). There was no clock, I suppose assuming people use their phones to check the time in the middle of the night. The room has a window facing inwards directly at the elevators, so you have to keep the curtains permanently drawn for privacy. The room was advertised inclusive of Wi-Fi, but when I connected it was only 2 Mbps, and I had to pay more for full-speed. On the plus side, a $19 buffet breakfast (if booked the night before, otherwise $30) was good value.
