The Savoy Hotel on Little Collins Melbourne

Really beautiful hotel that's been perfectly done up. Lobby and bar are gorgeous and the room was lovely. The bathroom was beautiful. Bed pretty good, if not amazing. But slept well. The only thing is they advertise as having smart TVs but you can't actually use the features. Can't log in to your Netflix. Free to air tv is not good.

Had a delicious dinner and cocktails in the bar. The service there was great.

Overall a perfect place for our staycation. Got to explore the west end and docklands from this great location.

Booked a king room for 5 nights around NYE and found it very disappointing: main downsides are small bedroom and bathroom and no attention to detail in terms of some aspects of cleaning. Ie. Upon our arrival there was hair on our bathroom floor and the carpet had fluff on it and had to ask for it to be cleaned, which is not what you feel like doing when you are tired and just want a clean room.

We were shown the next size room up and we agreed to lay the higher rate but then upon returning to reception to finalise the arrangements, we’re told this class of rooms were no longer available due to single night NYE revellers versus my 5 night stay. So it was disappointing to have hopes raised of the large luxurious room and then ultimately be returned to what we felt was a very small executive room.

On our last full day we asked for our room to be made up at 2pm and said we’d be out for 3 hours. When we got at 5: 30pm the room was unmade. We called the reception and we were told that housekeeping had finished for the day so they just put fresh towels and emptied the bins. No attempt was made to even slightly tidy the blankets/sheets that were messily thrown on the bed (in anticipation of house keeping).

So it feels more like a boutique motel than a 4 star hotel. While the barman was great and the reception entry feels luxurious, ee will not stay here again and so unfortunately cannot recommend.

Great hotel with lovely big rooms. Staff are great and location very handy to city shopping, sports stadiums and transport options. My go to for business and holidays.

Wonderful overnight stay to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The room was very clean and well maintained. The food and drink service was excellent. Parking was a little difficult as it is not in the hotel but paid for the valet service to look after the car.

Nice hotel, however - breakfast buffet wasn't great for almost $50 pp, and it doesn't have many facilities.

Nicely located, clean. However staff could make themselves more available and forthcoming with their help. Front desk doesn't look well manned.

Nice and clean hotel with good sized rooms. I've stayed here a few times while visiting for work and the staff are always extremely friendly. It's centrally located and has a variety of eateries in a short walk. My most recent stay was in one of the internal rooms which was a lovely change. I woke to the sound of someone playing the piano in the foyer.

Very very nice Hotel I was only there for 15 to 20 mins waiting for the coach for my day tour but very nice.

A really good place to stay. Rates cheaper than where l usually stay. The rooms are better too. The staff are friendly and accomadating.

Hotel befindet sich in eine Top Lage. Die Zimmer sind freundlich eingerichtet und sauber, allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Preis Leistung ist hier aber absolut OK.

Lovely business hotel for a short stay. Irons in rooms, spa on premises for a relaxing massage and a short walk from the casino.

The hotel service was basic. They didnt do any deco nor offer any cake nor chocolates despite us informing in advance that it was our honeymoon. The bfast was exactly the same for 3 days.

Beautiful room, comfortable bed. The staff where all very lovely. I really enjoyed the massage at the spa too!

Location is very central. There is also a free bus shuttle that stops directly in front of the hotel which takes you to the Chadstone Shopping Centre.

Fantastic location and beautiful hotel. Our room was on 9th floor and was excellent. The room has been newly updated and very nice. Comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. Very quiet. Will definitely stay again.

Couldn't fault the service and the staff were very helpful and friendly have always been very impressed every time we stay here

We arrived a few hours early, the girls at the front counter were very polite obliging and with no fuss stored our bags whilst we went on our city outing, on arrival at 2pm the girls had us checked in, bags already in our clean comfortable room, outstanding value, highly reccomend, thanks girls great work.

Newly refurbished, still keeps its heritage feel, pleasant staff, perfectly positioned - close to the public transport, airport transport & Stine throw to nice bars and restaurants
