The Savoy Hotel on Little Collins Melbourne

It is an absolutely excellent hotel. They food, the service, the rooms, the everything was amazing. It took me back home to London. The prices are underpriced, I think the hotel should be charging more for the magnificent excellence.

Lovely clean presented room. Quiet and cosy, great king size bed well finished bathroom. Foyer is very welcoming as well. Friendly, helpful staff.

Excellent hotel, will definitely stay here again next time I come to Melbourne. Very impressed and glad I chose to stay here for my first time in Melbourne.

Great location with easy access to public transport, including free trams. Also close enough that you can walk to main shops in CBD.

Staff are very welcoming and nice. Room was clean and beautifully decorated. Whole hotel smelt fresh, especially the lobby. I usually hate hotel bathrooms but loved this one. Gym was great as well.

Coffee pods, bottled water, instant coffee, milk and tea provided for free. In the bathroom most toiletries (body wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap etc.) provided but no toothbrush or toothpaste. Free wifi for 24 hours but was quite slow, opted to use my mobile data during my stay. There is an option to pay to upgrade wifi if needed. They also have a luggage room if you need to leave your luggage with them after checkout if you have a later flight.

Loved everything about this hotel, completely exceeded my expectations!

This hotel is good. Excellent cleanliness, food, service, rooms, Christmas décor, etc. However, it it not as glamorous as the hotel of the same name in London, and to both me and my husband it was a disappointment, henceforth taking two stars off this review.

The price was one of the best for a Friday night stay. The room was clean and had everything you'd need. The staff were friendly and helpful and we will be back. The location is close to the free trams and everything is easy to reach. Loved it

Concierge Gerard extremely polite and courteous.he kindly showed me around a little because I expressed interest in the history of the hotel.

This was my first time staying here and I would absolutely stay again. The hotel and rooms are all very clean and well styled with comfortable beds and amenities.

In particular, every staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful, including arranging a last-minute breakfast booking at a restaurant which was difficult to get a table at.

Absolutely no complaints about my stay and I look forwards to staying here next time I’m in Melbourne.

Great old building with beautiful exquisite rooms. Close to great restaurants and cinemas. We really enjoyed our stay here and certainly will come again.

The Savoy hotel was the perfect location to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary this weekend. A gorgeous room with a very comfortable bed, lovely facilities and a plate of delicious fruit. The staff were very friendly and even looked after our bags after check out time so we could explore the CBD a little longer. We would definitely stay there again!

It has good location and cleaned room (initially). Downside is the room were not cleaned properly thereafter. Carpet was not vacuumed for the duration of our 4 days stay cos I put a marker on the carpet to check. On our 2nd day, the toiletries, tea/coffee and milk were not replenished. Due to slow down in occupancy, the housekeeping staff got lazy and management could not be bother to supervise and follow check. The overall result falls on the hotel classic name and reputation.

Rooms are cosy but nicely appointed and stylish. The staff were attentive and professional. There is an onsite bar and restaurant which looked nice. The hotel appears to be taking all the relevant covid safe measures which was nice to see.

This is a great hotel in a not so savoury area. The staff are warm and friendly. The rooms are good. If you're staying just one night a queen room is fine but a king room is preferable for longer stays. In great condition spotless and fast lifts. The beds are firm to say the least

Room was clean however the bed and pillows were very hard. Coffee pods were also the wrong type for the coffee machine provided. The hotel parking over the road was also $1 more expensive if you paid through the hotel rather than just at the machine. Melbourne used to be a vibrant location to visit with many easy to find places to dine but since lock down the hotel is mainly surrounded by empty buildings

It's a good 4 star hotel. Not posh, simple but very clean and you have all you need. Very friendly and helpful staff. We left a camera in the room and they found it. The rooms are small but clean, beds are comfortable. Breakfast choice is small, 4 positions on the menu.

Fantastic service. Wonderful venue and really nice food. Across road from central station was a huge plus. Would recommend.

Fantastic facilities and service. I had a wonderful overnight stay can’t wait to return, the room was quiet spacious and very comfortable, bathroom excellent. The outstanding service at the bar and restaurant was second to none

Expected more based on the name. Wrong end of Collins St, no napkins with food for a conference, inappropriate cutlery sizes for dishes in which food was served, food ok. Again, the expectations vs the reality was disappointing.
