Excellent cafe, warm, friendly and attentive waitstaff. Quick turn out with coffees and food, would recommend anyone pop in!

Called in with a friend for lunch. Lovely, friendly service. I had the honey BBQ chicken salad which was delicious! My friend had the 3 egg omelette, and the staff were very accommodating to dietary changes requested.
Would highly recommend and will definitely go again when next in Melbourne.

We have visited several times before unfortanlty this time something was missing. Service was friendly and quick however the food was very slow. Almost two hours for an entree and pasta main on a Sunday evening with the restaurant half empty is way too long. Food at past visits was always full of flavour and texture, this time was very bland and unappealing. Lastly the total bill was way too much for the quality of the food. The quater will need to do better, will be crossing this off the regulars list.

This place is open early-ish, which is rare for Melbourne. The food and coffees however are fairly average. This laneway feels like a bit of a tourist trap.

Ordered the crab benedict with a skinny flat white. The eggs were poached perfectly and I appreciated them adding a bit of acidity to the avocados, but I was overall very disappointed by how cold the food was. There weren't a lot of people dining in, so the service was fast.

I had the 3 way Bao Buns and my mother had the Zucchini Flowers. Staff very friendly, food was great and the atmosphere outside was lovely. Nothing to fault at this cafe.

Sit at the front counter if uou can - been doing it for 20yrs everytime I'm in the hood, peep watching on steroids

Porridge was nice but advertising served with seasonal fruit and only have 4 blueberries and 4 thin slices of strawberry is taking the pi$$. Better food and value directly opposite

I usually wouldn’t write a bad review, but I genuinely would like others to not waste their time or money at this cafe. We waited 45 minutes for 3 toasties… $20 each, mind you. By the time they arrived, they were cold, underwhelming and my chips were clearly not Gluten Free, despite requesting the gluten free version of the meal. The staff were rude and continually ignored us when we were confused that our food hadn’t come out but others that arrived after us, and ordered after us, had well and truly eaten, by the time ours came. Further, I would like to point out that the way a cafe responds to the feedback they receive speaks volumes. Having seen the previous reviews and the way you have responded, I understand that I will be not be getting any sort of solution, nor will it be taken on board. Therefore, this review is purely to let others know not to waste their time (and you’ll need a lot of it… yes, even for a toastie) or money at a venue like this.

This place looked good from afar but my coffee was not very nice, the eggs in the eggs Benedict were overdone and the crackling was undercooked and not crunchy. The vinegar and pulled pork were nice but not very warm

They would also be better if they removed a table or two to allow staff and customers to move around easier - I had multiple staff and customers run into my chair. One of the customers ran into a waitress as well and spilt coffee - it took quite a while to clean up and no wet floor signs.

Very average and won’t be back.

Pasta dish was great, few alterations to the menu description- linguini not spaghetti and chopped zucchini not ribbons - but all forgiven as it tasted great. Friendly and fast staff.

I love the location as it's on degraves lane. Service was a tad unfriendly and food was just ok. There are much better brunch places in the CBD. I would not come back.

Great service and great food. Everything we ordered was perfect! Food were delicious and reasonably priced.

Don’t even know where to start honestly. Don’t get stuck in this tourist trap is the only advice I can give you.

My wife and I had dinner here for her birthday and everything we ordered tasted amazing! Would recommend their Pork Belly Brule’, 3 cheese gnocchi and Smoked lamb ribs!
