The Piercing Urge

Had such a great experience with Emily at the Piercing Urge. I was a bit nervous about coming in, but the whole team was so welcoming and friendly and I felt instantly at ease. Really beautiful jewellery and I appreciated how much time Emily took with me to make sure that I was completely happy with all the pieces before getting pierced. I never felt rushed and she was so easy to talk to - like getting pierced by a friend! I was super nervous post lockdown about Covid and being in crowds, but Piercing Urge was very clean and I felt really safe with all of their Covid safe practices (heaps of seating 1.5m from other clients, masks, sanitiser etc.

The actual piercings were so easy! Emily was really funny and calm and made me feel very relaxed about being stabbed by needles in my ears. She explained every process and asked me if I was ready before going on to each step (we love consent!). 100% recommend this place for any future piercings, I know I’ll be back!

Had my septum pierced by Eloise today and it could not have been a better experience! I felt so at ease the whole time and my piercing is everything I could have wanted. I cannot wait to come back for more piercings in the future.

Amazing place. Only use the highest quality jewellery and equipment, and are personable. I highly recommend Kai, he’s professional and will give you all the information you need before even starting the piercing! You’re well taken care of here. Best piercing joint in Australia. I was in Melbourne at the start of 2020 and had to plan a trip to the piercing urge whilst I was there. The jewellery selection is out of this world and the expertise of the piercers is otherworldly. I cannot give these folks high enough praise. I now order all my jewellery and plugs from them, with the fastest shipping ever. I get my jewellery within 3 days of ordering. 10000/5!

I'm so happy I found this place, I've been getting pierced for years and this is by far the safest, best place around. Eloise does such a good job with my piercings, and all the other staff are so friendly and helpful too. It's nice knowing you can trust everyone there, and all the jewellery to be high quality and safe. You really get what you pay for, both with jewellery and with service quality. I can't wait to come back after lockdown!

I saw Nick who I would highly recommend. He took time to make sure I was happy with the position of the piercing and had excellent aseptic technique. The piercing healed quickly without any issues.

Staff SO nice, very helpful to my wife with her piercing choice of metal/colour AND they promptly rang us after a medication container slipped out of one of our pockets down their couch when we were in the waiting room with our kids

Have had 3 different services here with Suzanne and Emily and have felt so comfortable and looked after each time. I like that you are given a quote before you go ahead with the service and after care education is a big deal here.

Absolute legends. Jessica took her time to make sure my double nostrils would be exactly how I wanted them while also catering to my anatomy. We both ended up being stoked with the results. Many laughs were had as I was walked through each and every step.

While it is very pricey, it is worth every cent! The staff are so professional and informed, and use proper jewellery and processes in order to get your piercing right. They take their time which is so important, I would recommend them for any piercing!

Entire experience was professional and easy. I was able to easily book online at a time that suited me and the wonderful Jessica was so informative and made sure she answered all my questions. I was given a fantastic information booklet with my piercing info in it plus all aftercare notes. The more we talked, the less nervous I felt. 100% would recommend to all.
