The Pancake Parlour, Malvern East

Service was less than optimal, we would have to flag someone down anything we wanted to order and even forgot to place orders for items we were after

So the Pancakes are great, I can't fault them! Absolutely delicious! Now this makes sense if your going to be called Pancake parlor, however, the other food they had was alright, definitely nothing worth raving about that's for sure. My only concern is the floor staff were extremely slow to bring out food once it was ready which led to my partners food being cold, not to mention, we had to wait 5-10 minutes (and asking multiple people) once receiving the food to get cutlery to the table to be able to eat the food so both meals were definitely on the cooler side or warm and whilst still edible it definitely wasn't an enjoyable dining experience. I don't think I'd be going back for dinner but definitely would go back for the pancakes should that urge arise again. It was just okay.

I wanted to take my elderly Mum for lunch only to find out it has an ramp assess for disabled patrons.

I would give a no star because we didn’t even get to eat nor were we seated.we stood waiting whilst staff stood around, who noticed us several times, didn’t even approach us.staff came to take money off exiting customers, asking us to stand aside at an area which is clearly marked ‘wait here to be seated’. Appalling customer service.

Busy! Service is slow, took 30 mins to bring up one coffee and two meals. But good vibes here.

Disappointed in the service. My order was taken by JackH at 9.29am and I was made to stand and wait for 35 minutes. I asked another waitress if my order was getting late at 10.5am and she said it’s already been made and gave me a takeaway parcel that has already been sitting there. JackH saw this parcel and me standing there this whole time and still didn’t think it was important enough to let me know my food was ready. Last time visiting Malvern east branch.

Pancakes were too much delicious. My favourite was choco chip pancake which was the one of the best dishes ever I’ve tried. Staff was friendly. The place is a big to go with bunch of friends. I never think twice to have mouthwatering pancakes. Cheers

So disappointed with the delivery service. Ordered from menulog and the meal was 45mins late and was stone cold. Put the order in around 4: 30pm for a 6: 15 delivery. Was so cold, it looked like it had been cooked at 4: 30 and left on the bench for someone to pick up. Reheated pancakes are the worst. Ended up giving it to the dogs. Would advise not to do takeaway/delivery from here, stick to dining in. The serve was also ridiculously tiny

Came on a Sunday for lunch. Only one person taking orders and waited over an hour for food.

The Friday 5$ crepe, wedges and are pretty good to try. Give it a go. Service is reasonable.

VERY POOR COMMUNICATION REGARDING BEING BOOKED. THE ASSISTANT MANAGER WOULDN'T CHECK THE PHONE BOOKING AND WOULDN'T BOTHER LISTENING OR GET THE MANAGER ON DUTY TO COME OVER TO THE TABLE
APPALLED HE DIDN'T CARE AT ALL
THEY SEEMED ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT GETTING CUSTONER TURN OVER THROUGH THE DOOR

Needing a dessert fix after dinner.
Haven't had Pancakes for a longtime, thanks to this Covid.
Staff were friendly and accommodating with being on crutches.
Desserts were definitely satisfying, love to have extra maple on my pancakes.

I ordered a drink and they bought out the wrong one. When the food came out ig was freezing cold bacon was definitely not fresh and the overall meal was not appetising at all. On top of that they charged and extra 15% due to it being a public holiday. Will not be returning

Walked in at 9: 10, ordered at 9: 15, walked out at 10 with no food or even water. Ruined the night completely.

Amazing as always! The girls were lovely for our massive group and super friendly! Food was fabulous and drinks were stupendous! Food came out quick, drinks even quicker

Not sure if we caught them on a bad day. Took a good five minutes to be seated, had to flag down staff to place an order which they said would take 40 minutes because they were really busy, (place was only half full). We were served one meal less than was ordered and one other meal was incorrect. Service was slow and staff seemed to avoid eye contact.

Had to pay at time of ordering, which created congestion at point of entry.

Menu has changed, not for the better.
Won't be back.

Over priced and a bit overrated for the product they sell. A nearly 15 minute wait to be seated for a restaurant that looked half empty.

Food was really good that I enjoyed. I ordered hot chocolate drink with it. It's was a bit strong for me. Overall it's was very good. Will surely visit again.

Took a long time to get our food and staff were quite confused in getting orders to our large group. Otherwise would have been a nice experience.
