The Pancake Parlour, Malvern East

Booked for 1-30 got out lunch at 2-35. Food great but no customer service at all. 5 minutes before we left they bought water to the table. It was for a 4 year olds birthday and to have to wait so long for 4 adults and one child is crazy.

Poor behaviour staff members. Only a baby crying claims that noise disturbs customers. I have been to pancake parlour many times at different location. Pancake parlour usually full of noise people chatting over lunch and dinner and people cooking full of noise only one baby cries. They asking a baby to go outside says disturb such a bad service.

Excellent pancakes as usual, venue was full and we got space outside, the only downside was no heaters outside which was bit of let-down for a venue of this calibre.
However, the redeeming feature was that we were served by Anastasia who simply is the best waitress in whole Australia, served us with a warm smile and catered to all the group with aplomb, she made our visit a memorable one

Food was amazing and we had an awesome time! Thank you to the Pancake parlour Chadstone staff for making our experience one to remember!

The pancakes were okay, but we ordered the jamaican pancakes (highly reccomend you dont)
And the whole plate was just mush with cinnamon. It was by far the most unpleasant plate of food we had ever tried. The fruit served with our meals were not yet ripe, and just terrible.

Fresh bananas next time perhaps? Everything was just squishy and a super disgusting texture.

Only thing I've ever enjoyed from pancake parlour is the alcohol, to get me through the service.

On date 30 June 2021 12.15 AM we ordered 3 pancakes as per first photo and we request them to put some Chocolate fudge in between pancakes as we ordered frequently and they specifically manager during that shift argued with us just because of some extra fudge they have to put. I even told them that always we are getting good quality and quantity as per second photo and I showed to manager but his behaviour was not acceptable. Very disappointed by staff this time. I never had this kind of issue with this store. But this manager and staff who served were very disappointed. He intensely put low quantity of chocolate fudge and he literally talked with racism. We felt very bad and the next table got served with proper quality and quantity just because we are not like them. Very disgusting and disgraceful. I am also member of Pancake parlour and would happy to give my order details.

This pancake parlor has always been pretty solid with its service and food. Friendly staff and well made pancakes.

From the moment we stepped in, our dining experience was already ruined by rude floor manager. Should have known to leave, before wasting my money here!
We were told we had 80 minutes to complete our dining experience and asked to wear a mask, (we are about to eat and we need a mask? No other patrons had a mask on)
We waited 20 minutes to be served!
Grossly rude and inept staff, Mexican chicken crepes were cold and partly burnt.
My tea was served with no sugar, I had to asked twice and no serviettes, had to help myself!
I would never recommend this PP, I have dined at many and this is by far the worst all 'round,
in fact McDonald's offer better service!
Drive a little further and dine elsewhere!

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I waited to be seated for over 30 minutes (along with maybe 30 others) and we were ignored the entire time, not even acknowledged that we were EXISTING THERE! Huge line waiting to pay and no one even cared. NEVER BEEN SO DISGUSTED WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE! 11

we just left along with half the line, even though at least half the tables were available

Our Waitress Anastasia was the most attentive and forgiving waitress I have ever come across in a long time in all my years in the hospitality industry. You have a true winner here.
It's a shame that more people didn't have here heart and passion.

Off-Monash Freeway-location is just perfect for a weekend dining out experience, especially taking my two year old along. Very traditional taste plus inviting waitress brings warmth into a winter’s night. Especially nice are their cafeteria style boxed semi-cubicle seats, a rarity these days. The little one loves the pancakes and crêpes are my favourite. The “colour me in” drawing pens and paper attracted my attention instead, offered a nice alternative than staring at a mobile phone. This restaurant brings back fond memories.

Told us we had a 70min seating; we didn't get our food after an 1hr then they told us we had to leave in 15mins

Service was not good waiter could not understand English wrong drink brought out, place very noisy Wednesday night all students

2 pancakes and choice of eggs cost $20. No coffee or no bread included. Infact they dont have bread at all. Poor service. Could get better breakfast else where. Its only pancake parlor not a actual breakfast cafe where you would find good options.

The main size of the pancake is very small which could be shared.at least the menu says. It's not even enough for one person. Not to mention, I was waiting there 25 minutes for 2 takeaway pancakes yesterday. However, the staff was very nice and friendly.

Great place for people who like to hang out late at night, be prepared though this place does get really busy, usual wait time for food or drinks will be longer than usual so if you don't have the patience don't come here and as it does get busy they sometimes allow you to split bill but don't be surprised when they don't allow it during their busy periods

Wow, these people work hard, we had a large group catching up for BelatedMothers day, we had an area to ourselves. The food was as Expected. Yummmm

The food and service was great but It pierced my heart to see There supervisor named Mahsa Nejad is a bully. She is extremely rude with the staff on floor and arrogant. She was adamant and lacks humility towards customers and coworkers. It was very unpleasant to watch and hear her behave so rudely.

I am disgusted once more!

I had to make a new account just to give you all an update on this disturbing situation! There is some sort of pancake conspiracy happening, designed to get us all as subscribers to the newsletter!

I will start from beginning.

I left a review for the malvern east location about how wickedly I was treated, ignored for an hour! Everyone was waiting in line to be seated and most of the restaurant was empty but apparently they don't like customers, abominable.

Then i got a reply, telling me to contact them about my experience so it could be rectified. I of course assumed that was business lingo for free food. But no. They then emailed me saying that my review and email complaints were not enough and i would have to call them! Then they finished their reply by telling me that they have 'added me to the list'! On what planet would you think that i would want to be added to your newsletter after having this SHAMEFUL experience.
Now it is clear to me however, as they gave me no proper response to my email, they clearly were plotting to get me on this alleged list.yet another sneaky manoeuvre by this pancake peddling capitalist conglomerate!

BEWARE ALL.

Great service.great to see them following the government guidelines of number of people at the venue.
