Best place to get your hands on top performing RC machines. Got an RC boat - Arrow 5 which runs like magic. Except for a silly racist store person with a horseshoe mustache, this place is best. Would definitely do more business with the devil may care attitude as always

These guys give great service. Bought a Traxxas RC which developed an issue they troublshooted and diagnosed the problem and fixed it for me straight away.

Dropped in for the first time. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The value of insight and support beats buying online any day.

They have a large arrangement of hobby items from model trains, models, radio controlled models. Also all you need to paint or build your hobby.

I Have been going to this place for years, mostly due to the fact it's the closest place to where I live. I just wish they had a little more in the way of kit selection. I understand they have to move volume but we have al built a spitfire and a mustang. Anyways keep up the good work, great paint selection. Staff are always good to have a yak too as well

It was a good place years ago but not anymore due to misinformation and new managment. I rang up and spoke to a staff member asking them for a product purchase & installation charges and they quoted me the price for the product and installation is just $6. I also confirmed over the phone again if it was only $6 and the staff member said yes.

So when i went into the store looking fowrard to get the installation done, i got printed a piece of paper now showing $60 for the labor installation charges. I told the staff member while speaking over the phone that it was $6 they said it was a mistake and its actually $60 for the labour charges.

I drove such a long way so excited to get it done and only come to see that its too much for me altogether with the product purchase. Very bad service i really dont appreciate this kind of service at all.

But anyways since i drove this far and i was here at the shop already, i decided to go ahead with it and paid the full amount that was on the paper. But i think it will be my last time coming here unless there are major changes/improvements in the future.

There are lots of other hobby stores around and i will go to them from now on.

Wide selection of quality products. I picked up some wheels and tyres for my rc car, on special for almost 50% off. Knowledgeable customer service aswell. Thank you Hobbyman.

Arrogant, smug, unfriendly and for this I drove an hour to experience. You guys can learn a lot from Hobbies Direct and even Metro Hobbies. I spent $200 online with Hearns Hobbies yesterday and a further $434 at Hobbyman today in-store. I especially came into the shop to see some Kronik shocks which I wasn't 100% sure would fit my truck, else I would have bought that online also. The smug, arrogant and unfriendly attitude I was met with purely for asking if I can see one of the $360 worth of shocks out of the packet that was just stapled closed (easy to re-seal without a trace) to see if they may fit my Vanquish VS4-10 was so unpleasant.left a really bitter taste in my mouth. Further conversational questions to help make up my mind what else to buy in the shop was met with terse, stand-offish, short responses, as if the slightest question or conversation was too much effort. I couldn't possibly recommend this shop. Owner if you read this, talk to your staff about customer service - in this day and age I'm surprised to be met with such unfriendly, smug service. I can purchase everything I need for this hobby online, instead I choose to support local business - is some friendly, helpful service too much to ask for?

I bought this 30/12/2021.
It didn’t fly at all and few times I tried it, finally the wings got broke there price $350.00 I found the same in eBay $159.00.

Awesome shop, with Awesome staff they all know their stuff, went just after Xmas so not much stock but otherwise

Purchased some products today but felt like I was rushed, the staff member just wanted to rush me to move on to someone else, I think he was already serving someone and then helped me. His focus was on the other person, really don't appreciate poor customer service and to be rushed and moved on when I wasn't finished. Will not return as this wasn't the first time I had been at this store and have had poor customer service. Treat your customers like how you would like to be treated and be more friendly then maybe you might get better reviews. I know about customer service as I used to deal with a lot of customers to and I always delt with one before helping another. If that staff member was serving someone already just say I'm helping someone I will be with you soon or I'll see if someone is free. Really not happy.

Highly recommend they are always happy to take a quick look at my kids broken RC toys and fix on the spot where possible, very knowledgeable, couldn’t be happier with them

By far, the most helpful nice staff I've ever encountered. Even though they didn't have the part I was after, the educated me about what I was actually looking for and helped show me where to find it. At no profit to them. Definitely have my business from now on.

If you want stuff, they have stuff.

And the people who work there know stuff as well.

Plenty of models very helpfull it will be great when covid is finished and small relailers can trade.

First time using The Hobby Man online, purchased a Flysky Gt5 radio and a few bits and pieces. Ordered it earlyTuesday morning and had it in my hands next day in Qld. Great job by Express post and The Hobby Man team. Would definitely recommend. Thanks to all involved

A big thanks to Jordan for all the advice and confidence he has given to me over the past week. I’m getting back into plane modeling again after some 45+ years reprieve! Not once has he tried to over sell products that I don’t need. He has spoken in a language I understand; particularly given I am from the era of ‘Tarzan’s grip’ for gluing parts together and Humbrol paints. I highly recommend The Hobby Man for all hobby enthusiasts.
