The Groove Train Epping Plaza

We had my daughter’s baptism reception at The Groove Train and I want to say thank you for the wonderful service. Staffs serving are very accomodating and helpful. Process of booking are very smooth from the start. Thank you Gino and your team for the great experience!

Unfortunately a waste of money. Service was fine and food came out very quick! Although the food itself wasn't very nice at all and defiantly not a meal worth $100 for 2 adults. The Beef salad I ordered I did not eat, the beef itself seemed to be marinated in a sweet vinegar and had a very horrible after taste, possibly refrigerated to long, the salad itself was over dressed with a reduced vinegar that it was so soggy and I had 1 mouth full and left the rest, I did advise staff on floor, also whom seemed to be management a gentlemen behind the bar that it was way over dressed and super sweet to eat and the remark back to me was " well its our best seller”
No care was provided that we had just order $100 dollars worth of food and we were very unhappy and that I personally left hungry and paid for food to be put in the rubbish, very frustrating. I have eaten at Groove train franchises before and never had such bad food experience so it was very surprising. My mums curry wasn't anything special at all and was very watered down, she only ate half due to that fact. 2 Bowls of chips we ordered for my kids were good although not worth $100! Really disappointing experience for a lunch with mum! Wouldn’t recommend it!

We went to the groove train on thursday night for dinner. We waited ages to oeder and then ages to get our meals. My steak was chewy and not very nve the mashed potatoes were flakey not fluffy like propper mashed potatoes. My husbands mixed grill was over cooked and not worth the 41.00 the waitress however was lovely

Ordered drinks and food. The drinks came and we waited 20mins to be told that our food wont be coming because there too busy. Lost a regular customer!

The man at the counter seemed really annoyed that we wanted to split the bill and proceeded to give us attitude while we were paying. The food and drinks were mediocre. The lady who served us was really nice.

Order via Uber eat, the food was fast but the quality was terrible, the salad was unwashed and full of sand I had to seperate out of the dish and wash it myself. The Moroccan lamb is listed as served with saffron rice and came with plain white rice, this is a dish that i have order multiple times and the flavour has really diminished.

We had family dinner here and although food was nice, service was not. They brought the kids meals first, even though we didn't ask that, then 10 min later, another 2 meals and 10 min later the last meal. When we asked about that, they said "it's coming". Not happy, I would not go back.

Excellent service at Groove train Epping, came on a Saturday night the staff was very attentive and my dish of Chilli Garlic Prawns with black rice was to die for, definitely a must when dining at the Groove train Epping!

I shared a plate of calamari, chips and salad. My partner, the ceolic, had the gluten free warm beef salad. And a plate of nasi Goreng. All of us were happy with the quality of the food and the friendly service. Only criticism too much mixed lettuce.

Breakfast was a disaster at this place! 2 poached eggs served on one small piece of toast, pancakes looked and tasted like a 5 year old had made them. Ordered more pancakes as portions were too small, and even that order came with the wrong toppings. Raised our concerns with management and nothing was done about it, now I know why this place is empty at breakfast ~ never going back!

Gino, Maddie and Jane will make sure you have an excellent dining experience. I went on a busy Saturday night with my partner and her parents, and all the staff were enthusiastic and the portion sizes were massive! You won't leave disappointed, or hungry.

The salad on the salt & pepper squid was very sad.only lettuce? ! Really? !? And the mushroom sauce for the steak tasted good but very runny.
Over all we enjoyed our meal

The good food the good service the best restaurant that i have been for a long time. I'm recommending that. Enjoy.

Big place with plenty of customer parking, friendly staff and very attentive to the needs of the customer would definitely go back next time I am at the plaza.

This was our first time going back after lockdown, food as good as I remembered. 1 of us wanted a drink and the other 3 tap water, the tap water was refused due to Covid, as they said they are trying to reduce the risk to a minimum. I would like to point out that no one who works there is wearing masks, all the booths are in use no distancing! But if you want water is $3, I always thought that in Victoria licenced venues cannot refuse to serve you tap water. Our bill by the end was higher then planned and I feel this is what they wanted not going back.

Food was good. Service seemed to be genuinely trying but got distracted and kept me waiting for a couple of things. Overall a good experience.

Was a great experience. The waiters were super lovely and service was quick. Food was great as well, big portions and the price was decent. Friendly environment, will definitely be back again!

Honestly the most amazing food and great for date night - the only let down is taking the kiddies as you are greeted at the door by lots of second hand smoke.

The atmosphere is beautiful & the food is even better. Come here all the time with my sister & haven’t had any complaints so far! The meals are abit pricy but it’s worth it.

Customer service in this place is unacceptable!
I walk in and wait to be seated as the sign requests.
Two women walk in behind me and get looked after while i say, hey i am waiting. Staff tell me that i will get served straight after them. I'm sorry, why. I was waiting patiently and then i have to wait.doesn't seem right to me AND i am standing there with a 5 year old.
Get your priorities right and look after your customers properly or at least attempt to find the proper solution to the problem you are facing. That is real customer service in any industry!
