The Groove Train Epping Plaza

Ordered their biggest T-bone steak - medium rare. It came out medium well. When I went to pay, I was asked to pay for the peppercorn sauce! This was a $47+ steak. You would think the sauce would be complimentary. Ordered a tap beer (peroni) but was told it wouldn't come out soon as there were too many dockets. We had booked a table for 5 two days in advance for a 30th birthday (wasn't in the system when we got there). A definite first and last for us.

What a big range of food to select from. It was beautiful food in Epping. My favourite was the truffle pizza! Must visit if you are in the area

Very rude staff! We ordered avo toast with halloumi instead of eggs. They served toast with 2 poached eggs on top and when I said that I asked for no eggs, waiter said we can remove this egg of you pay again. She accepted her mistake but said you have to pay for my mistake. She was rude and wanted me to eat same toast even if I didn’t order and cudnt eat bcz of religious reasons. Had to call the manager who served new toast after 20 minutes and didn’t attend us well. It was our favourite breakfast place till today, will not go back again!

Wait times were horrible, 48 minutes for a jug of lemon lime bitters.not happy (cross face).

Ordered a rib eye steak with wedges as substitute through Uber eats and to say it was good would be an understatement. Pricing was very reasonable it came very quickly and food was nice and hot. Food was delicious and it had a nice message on the bag. 10/10 would order again.

I went out to dinner tonight and ordered the Crispy Skin Salmon, it tasted excellent one of the best dishes going. The staff at the Epping Groove Train just tops it off with kind manners and quick service, this place is a must go to in the north.p. S try the Salmon you won't regret it.

Honestly this Grove Train has gone down hill so far that it's not even worth going here anymore. The Club sandwich bread was not even toasted correctly and the chicken inside the sandwich was very dry.

My mate had the chicken and mushroom risotto and the first thing she told was that it was way too peppery and that chicken was too Chucky.

My mates Milkshake didn't even taste as sweet as it should have. And my iced mocha tasted more like a iced coffee then anything else.

And we were sitting for 15 minutes before anyone even came over and asked us if we were ready to order yet.

Major disappointment.

Leave the nasi Goreng up to the asians/chinese not good, tasted like straight up soy ….
Partner got rump steak which he poorly missdescribed how he wanted it cooked - however was just a small piece of meat with 12 Jat potatoes…. For $50

Can’t comment on their meals because we didn’t receive any.
Ordered our meals and waited for a while, waited waited.come to closing time with chairs going up.
Yep sorry we forgot your meals.

We feel like part of the family when we visit. The food and service is always amazing. The staff are friendly and they always get our orders right.

Been there couple of nights ago, i wish I could give zero star to this place. Staff were extremely rude, service was poor, food was horrible, just stay away.

I usually buy from this place and their food has always been amazing up until yesterday, i ordered 3 items and they gave me 2 different items to what i had ordered, and the spaghetti Bolognese which was originally meant be spaghetti with meatballs came expired, i couldn't feed it to my child at all, the expired smell as soon as i opened the container was sooo strong i had to throw it out, i don't usually write reviews but i was very disappointed as i used to love this place so much

Such a bad experience.
Poor service. Nobody came to take order.when we want to order more nobody told us before kitchen is closing soon so that we can make our last order.

Went for Lunch and wait staff is good but manager /old lady need to learn some customer service. Food was not upto the standard. Stale bread and tasteless chicken poured salt and pepper to bring on some flavour.
Ambience is good but looks like it's in dire need of new chef/better equipped. Will not go there again.

Just popped in for coffee on Wednesday and we were served some great coffees. The server really did her job well, she was quick without being pushy and above all looked like she really enjoyed her job. Well Done!

The staff have no clue what they are doing. 1st waitress came to our table with wrong order, 2nd cake was stale (first cake ordered was out of date). 3rd - no one in store knows how to scan the loyalty card. Then when a manager did scan it, she argued that we couldn't get our 10% off even though we dined on Wednesday and "her store doesn't do it". She also claimed the cakes were delivered today when I mentioned they were stale, she said "I can show you the paperwork", I said sure that would be great. Then it never appeared. Considering my friend ordered a cake and was told sorry its out of date, pick another cake.that should have been a red flag.

I would never return to this store. Even after they were proved to be in the wrong, the manager or staff never even apologized for wasting our time and ruining our experience. My friend and I needed to explain to them, how their own loyalty program works. We decided to pay for the food after she refused to give us the discount because her store doesn't offer it and she "can't remove the 10% off or items off the bill" and turns out the store is included in the promotion as the receipt automatically took the 10% off, the manager would be looking at the computer with all the items and it written 10% off". Hopeless on all fronts. Go anywhere else. This place is horrible, no wonder its dead most the time. Even if the 10% off didn't automatically come off, she should have never argued with us, as the loyalty program includes the store, in fact when signing up to the program my friend selecting the Epping store and also there is no Asterix or disclaimer to say only participating stores and excluding the Epping store. Manger was not interested in being reasonable just asserting her "power" and saying "no we don't offer that". Besides the horrible customer service, I even felt sick all night so this place gave me food poisoning too. Will never return here.

Ordered Chicken Parmigiana and Nadi Goreng. Chicken parmigiana was just warm not feel like fresh cook. The Nasi Goreng was tasted good!

The service was very good very polite food was served with 20min. Great place to eat at.
