I told the tattooist that I was a little nervous, and when I started the tattooist was still concerned about me because it was my first tattoo. And he was kind enough to explain how to maintain it. He is very professional.thank you Shane.

I had a cover up done by Ludan and she was amazing. I have a lot of tattoos and this is one of my faves. She was super quick and actually designed and free handed parts of the tattoo to fit my arm. Can’t speak highly enough of her talent and the shop is clean, the people were awesome to deal with! Definitely an extremely high quality place.

An absolute privilege to be tattooed by Joe! From a guy who has no tattoos himself (lol!) yet has an insane ability to tattoo like a true artist that he is! Amazing! Thanks everyone at the Dark Essence, super friendly, super clean and an awesome environment! See you Soon!

Shane was amazing and put a lot of care into my tattoo. It was my first tattoo and had some allergies to consider. He made sure I was safe and advised me of everything I needed to know in order to be informed and at ease. Good for a chat as well during the session. I'm so happy with the end result.

All of the staff are friendly and accommodating, great attention to detail. I got my first tattoo here, and I greatly recommend them. Specifically Shane who did a fine line tattoo for me from one of my favourite games The Witcher 3.

Pleasant cheerful receptionist on initial walk in, had to reschedule a couple of times and all the staff I spoke to were friendly and professional. Trin was lovely, right from the consultation thru to getting job done. Very helpful in deciding fonts and placement. More than happy with Trin’s work. Thanks again.

Nick is a fantastic artist, what he visually imagined then created was beyond my expectations, the studio is amazingly clean and feels like atop end establishment.
I have no hesitation in recommending Nick, this was my first tattoo, maybe I was just lucky I got an artist on the same page.

I came in today for a walk in with Joey and had the best experience, I can’t fault my tattoo and can’t recommend the studio enough. I’m not usually one to write reviews, whether they be good or bad ones- but felt the need to express how great my experience was here. Everything from reception to getting my tattoo was 10/10, it just goes to show that the little things do count. I was offered sweets whilst I waited for a spot to open up, and was given a lovely little aftercare envelope. The artist I saw, Joey, whilst I was a walk in customer, still gave me the time of day and didn’t treat me any less than a booked client. I love my new bumblebee and will be back very soon. I got a big chest piece done and the lady was kind enough to give me multiple breaks through out. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They kept checking to see if I need anything, water etc.
