The Boot Factory reviews
73As someone who usually only looks south of bell street for a cafe, the boot factory more than holds its own in the competitive Melbourne cafe scene. The menu is inventive with favourites and great new items I’ve not seen before. The place is both cosy and roomy - different well-set out spaces means you should easily get a seat without feeling you are in a large empty warehouse. And the service is super friendly and efficient without the attitude you sometimes see south of bell.
Nice surrounds tasty food great selection of drinks.had a turmeric golden Latta. Absolutely fantastic
Friendly staff, delicious food and truly lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend the eggs Benny and their single origin coffee choices are first class.
Loved the soft shell crab Bao. So delicious. Great location and fantastic service. Will definitely be back.
Was a good place for brunch. The food first seems a little over price but you get alot for your money. Only reason they get 4 stars is I personally like a few more options. Still a wonderful experience would go again 9/10.
We had an enjoyable lunch here today. Prices are bit rich for what you get. The food servings look like artwork rather than good value meals. Service was nice and place was pretty busy.worth a visit just to see the old Pentridge Prison remains.
My pen just broke and the lovely human serving me gave me their own pen from their pocket. 5 stars for sure
Great food, service was good, unfortunately it was very loud the background music and crowded means you can barely hear the person sitting opposite
A really good place for a coffee and scrumptious breakfast after a Saturday morning Coburg parkrun, with a bit of history too
Happy to be doing time here. 9/10
The once "cold" former Pentridge prisoner's boot factory, dated back to 1850's, "warmly" converted; original features, retro, quaint, modern, bright and spacious. 9/10.then their coffee, 7/10 rooms for improvement.most importantly their food 9/10; wholesome goodness, well presented and easy to enjoy.
Attentive and pleasant service, happy to go back and doing some time in there. JT-May 2019.
I came here to have brunch with my friends recently. The venue is quite big and cozy, the staff really attentive and friendly.
I ordered a pumpkin soup from their specials menu and it's probably the best one I ever had, Extremely rich in favor and so creamy. It made me quite full but there was still room for their apple smoothie. My friend had the shakshuka and that was amazing as well!
All in all a great brunch experience, the food was so good! I will come back for sure.
Nice food and a beautiful atmosphere. Fantastic coffee. I enjoyed my meal (may have been the healthiest breakfast ever) but felt like there was something missing from it.
Quaint little cafe set in the historic factory where boots were made for Pentridge. The old prison walls surround the cafe, a nice area to check out with a tasy coffee in hand!
