Prompt and friendly service! Mainly go here for takeaway drinks. Good coffee! My new go to drink is the matcha latte too!

Loved the slow cooked lamb and had a bite of the chicken burger too which was just as delicious! Both were cooked and prepared to perfection. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Lovely little Cafè, great coffee, great food and great atmosphere.

Great little Cafe in an old prison. Pretty special and friendly staff. The Chai was really nice although it's a shame it needed to be blended when a cold one would have sufficed. Very happy overall

Finally I found a place which I will revisit many times. Cosy, great atmosphere, very tasty breakfast and coffee is always great. Best prana chai I had for a long time. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere is good but the food and drinks are a bit disappointing for me. I thought the value for money was a bit poor. Example a side of chorizo is only half a chorizo and costs $7

The coffee was alright mainly because the syrups they use aren't that strong at all. However you should be alright for a regular latte or a cap.

I recommend popcorn chicken, maple glazed bacon and their chips.
Staff majority was nice and except one fallen apple in the bunch but no big deal given we are all still training to be a socialized civilization after spending lockdown in our caves. We did have to wait for a bit to get a table but that not because of the lack of tables but the staff were busy with other things.
Look will I go again to this place again? Unfortunately I have to give the boot to the boot factory. I think it was mainly the food, value for money and the one fallen apple amongst the staff team

I enjoyed it very much. And our waitress Rachel was so nice, a payrise would be fantastic don't loose her a lovely person.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere (Good music and good people). I had the Wagyu Beef Burger and a Coburg Lager. 5 stars - Would definitely recommend.

Edit: They've since put the price of coffee up. It's still good coffee, but expect to pay $5.20 for a large (which is standard sized) soy latte/cap.

Good coffee and some pretty good food. Atmosphere is cool too, being situated in the old Pentridge. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you're around.

Just copped a whole lot of attitude because I ordered something, card was swiped and then when the girl behind the counter said “sorry looks like we are out of egg and bacon rolls” so I asked for my money as that was what I wanted. The money was then pulled out of a till and thrust into my hand rudely no apologies given. Perhaps next time check you stock before taking my money!

Easily one of the best brunch cafes in Melbourne. The food is out of this world and I'm not exaggerating:) Many thanks to the chefs for putting a lot of efforts into the presentation.

Absolutely beautiful tasty interesting food great variety for all tastes and needs! Also very good helpful service! Have been a few times and never been disappointed!

Really disappointed with their service. The lady who was taking order was almost forcing us to order coffee when we clearly said we don't want any coffee. The food took 30 mins to arrive. The food itself wasn't that great. My overall experience with this cafe was extremely bad. I hate wasting my money on the food which disappoints. Never coming back again.

Won’t go back, and will tell others not to

Went in this morning to grab a coffee and breakfast for my birthday.

Lady toasting my food drops it on the floor in front of me, picks it up and puts it back in the box to serve!

When showing disappointment with this, got told off by another member of staff as “everyone makes mistakes”

Mistake was dropping the food, fair enough. Putting it back in the box to serve me? Worst kind of negligence a resteraunt can show

Amazingly delicious food, a fantastic atmosphere for a cozy meal or a catch-up with friends or a family visit. Staff are wonderful and it is priced well.

The Boot Factory should be a go to cafe for anyone living in the North!
I have been to the Boot Factory multiple times and I cannot fault it.
This time we tried:
- Nourish Bowl (Fresh and healthy option)
- BIG Boot Breakfast (It is simply a BIG breakfast with so much flavour)
- Tropical Smoothie (Perfect summer drink)
Again and again this cafe impresses me with its beautiful dishes, perfect layout and lovely staff.

Settled in the pentridge old jail area in coburg, its got really interesting surroundings. Cafe itself offers good food and good service. Even though they were super busy, everyone there seemed so friendly and attentive. The cafe deco is good too. Of course good coffee as well.

Staff are always friendly and welcoming, and food consistently good as is the coffee. The fried chicken burger is my personal fave on the menu.

The Boot Factory is located in the old Pentridge prison in Coburg. We came here to enjoy the brunch, and although it looked good from the street, I was surprised how busy it was. We ordered the egg benny, the apple crashed hot cake and the chili duck competed. Hot cake is one of the best pancakes I have ever eaten. It's not too sweet, light and fluffy, perfect weight (for me). It comes with a delicious cinnamon marscapone, not too creamy. Everything is perfect. Despite the enticing menu description, the duck fight is a bit disappointing and boring. This egg looks very fragrant and tastes good. My latte is OK, but the long black comes with a small card, I think it's cool, hot chocolate is delicious.

Floor staff doing an amazing job. Run off their feet. Bacon & Eggs Beautiful. Tumeric Latte Perfect. Well done to all Staff.

Friendly staff. Great location, sitting outside with a view of the old prison was awesome. Great vego and vegan selection on menu. Coffee turned up pretty cold which was the only thing wrong with the experience.
