What a great place to dine. Previous came here for breakfast and this time came for lunch. Food is also delicious and even though its always busy food comes out pretty quick. Staff are super friendly. Highly recommend The Boardwalk Bendigo

Absolute 5 star experience from the second we walked in the door! The staff were all happy, bubbly and beautifully mannered. It was my girlfriends birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make her feel so special? The food was incredible! We were all so full but also couldn't stop eating. This has very quickly become our new favourite place and we will be back very soon!

This has got to be one of the best cafes in the greater Bendigo region. Amazing location and setting, beautiful trees surrounding the venue on the edge of the lake. The venue itself has plenty of roomy seating and offers great service combined with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Coffee is spot on and menu is always interesting and reliable. The pandemic has been hard on hospo and this venue has kept it's local residents supplied with a great spot to meet and socialise through it all. We should all continue to support and be grateful for these spaces. Thank you all for your great work.

This place is lovely, set on the lake and just perfect for Sunday morning brunch. The staff were amazing and very attentive, they should be proud of the great job they do because they definitely set a great atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and coffee was spot on.

It was an absolute pleasure having Breakfast at this Cafe with my daughters yesterday. The staff were very friendly and the food was exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Quite expensive for breakfast/lunch, but worth every cent!
It was lovely looking over the lake while we ate, and the dietary requirements were very inclusive.
The staff are all very kind as well.
My dog also thinks very highly of their K9 menu

Crazy amazing meals with super fun modern-pop twists! Generous servings, staff was FILLED in ENERGY and I’m so pleased to say that I’d drive the two hours from Melb to Bendigo for another brunch experience!

My partner went here to order a coffee and she was told by a guy with beard: " we are not coffee only, you have to order something". My partner said we don't want food, The guy replied: "you can order something small. "

OUTSTANDING service, food and atmosphere! My partner and I came in for brunch and both had the Big Vegan breaky - ​it was just beyond awesome! Freshly made, fairly priced and absolutely delicious. I'm so excited to try out more vegan meals here in the near future!
I always love the music here, the cosy and comfortable atmosphere and the staff are all so welcoming and accommodating - they are always so cheerful and ensure that you are receiving the best service possible.
Cannot recommend this place enough!

Our group ordered 6 different meals. Everyone finished everything on their plates and said how wonderful it tasted. The staff were upbeat and so friendly ro us all. A wonderful day.

I cant speak highly enough of this place. Breakfast 2 days in a row was very good, seating by the lake was awesome and the hospitality, especially by the restaurant supervisor, was better than any place ive seen and i was 16 years in the industry!

Excellent, friendly and very fast service. The food was lovely and the atmosphere is always lovely here. Only wish they would open for dinner in summer, at least on Friday and Saturday nights. Would be lovely dining by the lake on a balmy night.keep up the good work.

We booked a table for brunch/lunch and we were looking forward to the nice venue and absolutely loved the fact you could have dogs there! We were greeted by a welcoming girl at the check in area, which was great. It all went downhill from there. Serving our table was a waiter who was persistant on us ordering a drink and we felt rushed. My husband asked a question about one of the items. The waiter took my mobile phone from the table without asking permission, opened it up and tried to show us a scanning option to view pictures of their meals. My husband and I were so shocked that a waiter would help himself to a customer's PERSONAL belongings. It was extremely inappropriate. He put the phone back on the table when the plan backfired. After he left us to continue looking at the menu, we decided we didn't want to order a meal as we were put off. When the same waiter discovered that we weren't interested in ordering food, he said due to restrictions we had to order food or they will KICK US OUT. The exact words used. I understand there's timeframes during time like these, but there is an appropriate way to speak to people. The waiter should perhaps try being a salesman or preacher instead as he certainly doesn't belong as a waiter!

The Boardwalk is the perfect place for breakfast or a light meal in Bendigo. The location is beautiful, the service is very friendly and attentive and the food is absolutely delicious. It's definitely my go to venue for a breaky catch up with friends.

If I could give no stars I would.staff rude, can't make a hot coffee to save themselves, meal just edible. Keep going back but never again. Nice atmosphere but service and food appalling
