The Bear House Restaurant

My partner and I went there for dinner it was awful we ordered rice with chicken and also rice with seafood hardly any chicken or seafood just awful we will never go back.

We had our first meal from here tonight.
Delivery was delivered when said and the food was delicious.

Was surprised to find it is a Chinese restaurant but food was good quality and reasonable prices, very friendly staff.

Meal was very tasty and there prawn toast was out standing, service we could not fault, bear house is now our go to place when eating out.

I used to love the Bear House but won't be going back the food was so tasteless I bought mine home to add flavour to it its gone up as well very dissatisfied

Service was great quite busy and meals were slow to come out but free drinks and fantastic tasting food made up for the wait

Came here for a birthday party and tables pre booked for 26. Sat for over half an hour for our drinks to come to our table. We sat at our table patiently waiting watching other customers come and go and the take away be pumped out. An HOUR AND A HALF LATER my partner had to go up and ask them where our meals were. Suddenly all of our meals appeared with little apology or reason as to why. Safe to say I will never be coming back.

Went there 12 months ago and the food was terrible and the service was even worse.but this time the food was much better and the service was better as well. Still can improve.

Great staff, great atmosphere and the best Salt 'n' Pepper Calamari we've tasted. Had 14 of us there and everyone enjoyed their meals.

Was really nice food, except that we did not get rice with our meals, I had a great mothers day here with 2 of my daughters

Was honestly worried with the hit and miss reviews but after eating here, I can confirm this is indeed a succulent Chinese meal!

We had, lemon chicken, beef and black bean, sweet and sour pork, spring rolls and pork dumplings and fried rice. All amazing.

I'm not a huge fan of Chinese cuisine but I'll definitely be back.

I have been to the Bear House Restaurant several times and the food itself, the portions and presentation was sensational! When requested, take away containers are provided for left over food to be taken home. On the negative, staff talk in their own language after requesting something and it gives you the impression that they are talking about you. Depending on what staff is rostered on at the time, service is slow and language can be a barrier. Manager on duty on Sunday (3 March) was not happy giving out take away containers, which she handled quite rudely.

Soz but this place is bad got here at like 6: 40 and now it’s 8: 03 guess what no I haven’t got my food yet

Service and food excellent and Chin the managers was just so friendly and loving
Will recommend to all my friends and I will certainly be back.

Tried to make us pay $5 per person to drink our own wine that they also wouldn't even open

We love this restaurant and have always had good food (Chinese) and excellent service.the restaurant has a very relaxing atmosphere and is homely.

OMG! STAYED FOR 1 night was suppose to stay 2-3 weeks.we felt like we were in a horror movie the rooms were discussing dirty old smelly.no one around if u needed help no contact with anyone ur left to defend for ur self.the food seemed old Pre heated A BIG NO WAY!
Its a shame coz there's not much motels around CRANBOURNE.and if it had a face lift.they would be killing it! With good reviews,
