TGI Fridays reviews
77Great place. Love the ambiance, the food, and the service. Miss the unlimited refills though. Maybe bring back as an option in a different glass. I was happy to pay more for that option.
Highly recommend the TGI Friday’s in Doncaster the food is absolutely beautiful the staff is very nice the service is very quick I highly recommend anyone to try Tgi Fridays in Doncaster very good food very nice staff and the prices are reasonable
The restaurant is providing good food with reasonable price. Even there are some diferences between store like the food (tacos in eastland but not in doncaster westfield shopping town or the size of ice tea with rum), but the taste remains the same (which is good plus point). The ambiance in eastland is suitable for kids and family. Highly recommended for friday out with kids and family. Enjoy!
Unprofessional staff. They talk about their sex lives in front of customers, including my kids. Seen them drink and take shots while working too. No we don't want to hear about your colleague who had an affair with a married man, or about the other colleague who is trying to sleep with another colleague who is in a relationship. Keep your private lives at home, no one wants to hear about your lack of morals, especially families with young kids. Wish I could say this only happened once but that would be a lie. Shame because we love the restaurant and it's food, but won't be back until staff can learn to be family friendly.
The food here tends to be hit or miss. Chicken based dishes are often too dry, however the burgers and ribs are great. However there is always a wait for a table and food takes quite a while to be prepared. It is also on the pricier side.
Definitely won't be coming back. Food was below average with matching service. Such a shame. The layout and interior design of the restaurant is great. This place has so much potential. Needs new management and staff, or it will fail massively.
Service was ok but slow. Staff were friendly. The food was standard and presentation was way below standard. For the cost of the meals, this was a poor show. Don’t think we will return.
We went last night. Whoa boy. I wanted to say something when I left but it was a young guy ate the register and I didn't want him to cop it passing on the feedback to the boss. So the plates come out dirty. We asked for clean plates. The second ones came out dirty. The girl who took our order kept sniffing between every second word, she didn't sound well at all. The manager stood at the kitchen window shouting at the wait staff and kitchen crew. Then the food come out.the jack chicken strips were soggy, apparently sitting way too long. The chips were cold. All of this other stuff is bad. But the manager yelling was appaling. The atmosphere was horrible I felt so bad for the staff! I like Friday's. I won't be going back to this one.
Worst #tgifeast ever. Thanksgiving + bday dinner. Thanksgiving buffet. Turkey breast roll roast was moist, gravy and cranberry sauce were ok. Otherwise. Bread rolls were cold. Mac n cheese with stuffing had barely any cheese, stuffing was dry, sweet potatoes and carrots really tasted the same (both sweet and similar texture). And they didn't even bother with singing birthday song to embarrass our bday girl. Just plonked down the cake we brought in and some plates with sundae spoons (yes.those teaspoon sized scoop with long handles) and left. Thank God for good company. Service has gotten even worse than last time. #sadface
What the hell happened Fridays? My husband and I used to love going there and always enjoyed good food. Now it is BAD, you changed the menu and probably providers. The food we had today was below average, dry chicken burgers, cold fries, super small portions, no sauce for the fries. We talked to the staff and they listened to our feedback, apparently they have received complaints like this lately. Why would you deteriorate as a restaurant? It feels like your food has lower the quality and you're trying to cut costs when your prices are still the same! You lost us as customers today, we won't be back. With so many other options around, spend your money wisely.
Used to be one of our favourite places, but now seriously let down by poor management. Long wait for the food, even though we were the first seating for the evening. Also, they tried to dishonour an Entertainment Book voucher because one of the six food items ordered was on special (supposedly a new policy?). Asked politely to speak with the manager, and they suddenly came up with a compromise solution (manager was too busy to appear). Waitress became very sulky even though we were polite throughout. On the way out, saw many other unhappy guests waiting for food and felt sorry for them. Lift your game guys - need a better attitude towards your customers.
My husband and I ate here tonight. Service was quick and friendly. We both enjoyed our main meals, however there was one major issue. My husband has coeliac's disease and cannot eat gluten. We explained this to our waiter and and asked for the green salad as a side dish. This was marked "gluten free", but we also made a point of mentioning that it needed to be gluten free. When it arrived it had croutons in it. We pointed it out to our waiter, who took it away and brought a replacement. My husband ate half of the second green salad, then at the bottom, there was another crouton. We called our waiter over and he apologised and took it away, replacing it with another one. However there was no understanding or acknowledgement of the fact that this was a serious issue. If my husband eats gluten, he can be sick for up to 3 days and it does damage to his bowel. This was a menu item labeled gluten free that had croutons in it! Very poor on behalf of the staff and chefs at TGIs and a serious risk issue to the health of anyone who has Coeliac's disease or a significant gluten intolerance. We won't be going back.
The kids favourites s the ice cream sundaes always have enough syrup, cream and ice cream to sink a battle ship and satisfy their appetites. The spicy buffalo wings are good as well.
Low staff numbers struggled to meet demand, mains we're just over one hour in the waiting. The food was a special disappointment, over cooked under whelmed.
Went for lunch. Pretty good special. Only single server but he did well to serve all those tables. Kitchen was a wee bit slow so dont go expecting a quick meal
Been here a few times and I have no complaints about the food and their service. The staff was friendly and waiting time was not different that any other Fridays. Food was superb and enjoyed dining there.
Ribs were great! Reasonable value but the service needs to be reviewed. Took ages to just get a drink! As previous reviews have highlighted, staff could do with a service pep talk.
