Swinburne seems to intentionally deceive it's students with vague paperwork, confusing websites, a multitude of disconnected departments. The only reason I can see for everything to be so confusingly designed is greed, trying to fool naive students into spending more money. As if University wasn't expensive and stressful enough.

It is mind boggling how hopeless Swinburne is, avoid it if you can. If you no other options but to go to Swinburne, commence on trial with flexible subjects that will allow you to transfer to another university.
Systems, administration and general consideration of students is beyond abysmally hopless and they could really careless.
After several years I can tell you, your money means nothing, you will part with $40K or more and you will be treated like cattle/a number/an inconvenience to Swinburne. Extremely disappointing given they teach user and customer experience. They really have no clue.

I must say, Swinburne impressed us, we were part of MUNA 2019. Great place to encourage young people to learn about other nations and to understand and appreciate the workings of the United Nations while they develop debating skills and gain self confidence in public speaking. After completing my undergraduate studies at Swinburne University I can say with confidence that this is a great higher education institution. I completed my degree studying part online and part on campus (cross faculty study) with great people and most of the academic staff are very helpful too. I have since gone on to do postgraduate study at a different institution, although I still miss Swinburne's great Hawthorn Campus, which made studying not such a hard task.
To anyone considering Swinburne, I would say go along and check out the campus, it really is one of Melbourne's underrated universities.

The smartest people I saw, "This is our business"That's exactly what one of the student's adviser told me. Take care of your money

My brother is currently enrolling with Swinburne. We've paid over 11 grand in fees all we need is a confirmation of enrolement but they never reply to our quries. They ask for further information but do not give any
details. If we send an email they just ignore us I called the other day and a lady told me that the international admissions team don't have a phone which gets me no where.

I was invited by the Australian Human Resources Institute and Swinburne University to provide a presentation on LinkedIn to students on 5/9/18. Mike Hannaford was extremely welcoming and around 80 students attended and were actively engaged throughout the presentation. Great to meet so many enterprising students and lecturers.

My Diploma was a huge balls-up from start to finish, terrible management and equally terrible organisation and delivery of content. Still haven’t got the accreditation I was promised and it’s been 18 months!
Don’t go to this university!

I learnt business here. Didn't go a great job, because I still don't have a job in my field. Could just be me though lol.

Start of our journey as parents and we have found the staff so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too difficult.

Swinburne University has a great civil engineering course. The subjects are developed with assistance from industry making them all very relevant. In addition to their helpful teaching staff which often go out of their way to assist students with their issues makes for a great university. I would highly recommend Swinburne. I should also mention that the photos taken are of the Hawthorn campus.

The quality of customer service is appealing. As a postrgrad student I was told to raise a ticket to have Swinburne's IT issue fixed. I raise the ticket which is closed the next day with the comment "we will reach out to you". 1 Week goes by and no one reaches out to me. I raise another ticket and that one gets closed as well. 2 days later (overall 1.5weeks gone now) I attempt to call them at 10AM and kept on hold for over 15mins (and still counting) without reaching anyone to talk to.

I have been studying at Swinburne for 5 years. It's one the worst universities in Melbourne especially for international students, all they care about is your money. Go to Latrobe or RMIT.
