Stumpy Gully Vineyard and Restaurant

A taste sensation! Wonderful combination of flavours. Service was excellent. Estate wines were beautiful. We bought a couple of bottles to enjoy at home. Reasonable prices for Peninsula wine.

We had the best lunch. The food was delicious. My brother is very fussy and he just loved it. The sauces were amazing. Best chocolate mousse he has ever had. The wines were so good we bought some to take home. If you haven’t been here yet I recommend you book. You will be delighted.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch here, finding the food perfect. With a range of ages from 11 to 80, in a group of 9, everyone was delighted with their choice. My favourite was the scallop entree dish, but I certainly could not fault the duck I had for the main dish. Well done.

GREAT FOOD, BRILLIANT WINE, FRIENDLY SERVICE. One of my favourite Peninsula wineries. An added bonus is it 10 minute drive from home. Will continue to visit on a regular basis.

This is the third time I have visited stumpy gully and it will not be my last. The kangaroo tartare And duck breast Main course are outstanding! The Sangiovese is one of my favourite wines also. I can’t wait to cone back again.

We chanced about Stumpy Gully last year, and had an amazing wine tasting experience in their beautiful cellar door back then! We came back and had dinner at their restaurant yesterday, and what an incredible experience it was! Beautiful restaurant setting and ambiance at night, service was impeccable, food divine, and an excellent bottle of Stumpy Gully wine made for a most enjoyable experience! We drove in from Melbourne for dinner and it was well worth the drive, highly recommended!

We visited on Sunday 13th June for my birthday lunch. A huge thanks to the Chefs for an EXQUISITE meal. Every element on my plate was out of this world and had my tadtebuds dancing. Also, a thanks to the front of house staff for being so attentive. It was nice for once not to be rushed and enjoy a meal at our leisure. Thanks again. Can't wait to be back.

Despite being searchable as a dog friendly venue, 'Karen' advised us no dogs are allowed on site as they have their own! Bizzare! Then they don't serve food outside, despite having tables outside.

Beautiful food, Shane is a fantastic chef sourcing the frshest local foods. Had a great night. Can't wait to go back!

My 2 friends and I had lunch here yesterday in light of the fact that we had to cancel our trip to was Port Douglas that morning and it was a great antidote to our disappointment. The meal was outstanding and the waitress was very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. In addition, the ambience exceeded our expectation. Highly recommend a visit.
