Stumpy Gully Vineyard and Restaurant

Amazing experience. Really impressive setting, we opened the door and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were so friendly, accomodating and easy to talk to. There was no rushing, we were the last to leave and they happily let us sit and enjoy our wine and the view. The food was next level - duck egg w/pancetta, and the desserts of pecan pudding and deep fried custard were our highlights. Compliments to the chef who we also met (and his wife) - they were so friendly and humble. A lot of the produce seems to come from their own farm. The Cab Sav was easy to drink and we polished it off at home later that evening. Can’t wait to go back and visit again.

Wow is all I can say. Julia, Jacqui and Jasmine plus the other members of the Stumpy Gully team were just SO lovely. FOOD was beautiful looking and tasted equally yummy. From my initial online booking to finishing up the last bit of my dessert - everything was just lovely. I just wish that all "customer service' - (although I don't want to call it customer service because it was so much more than that,) we need more places like this and the welcome we received at Stumpy Gully was lovely. We are back there for a function in Oct and I can't wait. The views of the vineyard, the tables, the wallpaper, just everything - super impressed. Go team!

We had such a fabulous lunch at Stumpy Gully. The food and wine were delicious and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

Stumpy Gully is a lovely dining and wine tasting venue - we visited with 2 friends. The setting is pretty. The restaurant and tasting area are very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful - service was great. They have a modest range of very interesting reasonably priced wines and we left with a mixed case of 13 wines. We enjoyed the 3 course fixed price menu. The Forestry Mushroom Cannelloni, slow cooked Gippsland Beef Cheek and warm buttermilk & pecan pudding were wonder - as good as any 5 star offering in Melbourne restaurants. We will definitely be back.

Went to Stumpy Gully last night and it was perfect! The taste of the food was delicious and the presentation was first class. The staff made you feel at home from the moment you walked through the door till the moment you left. An absolute must place to visit️ Louis & Kim

Dinned with 6 girlfriends on Saturday 25 June on the 3 course $90 set menu. We had a fantastic experience at Stumpy Gully from booking to dining and we will definitely be back.
Their staff and customer service were excellent, great communication in the lead up to our lunch.
The food was divine and very well priced for a set menu (my only negative would be that in my experience tea and coffee should be included in the set price)
The menu choices were really great and everyone on our table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The Beef cheek was the standout main!
I like that there is no time limit on your booking so we could have a break between courses, take a walk on the property, do some wine tasting and then return to the table for dessert and coffee.
Everyone on the table also enjoyed their wine choices and a few of us took several more bottles home following the wine tasting.
I would definitely recommend this venue. Thanks, for a lovely afternoon.

Everything about this restaurant was wonderful and a perfect venue for an overdue catch up with my Shistas.
The staff were very nice. Our waiter was awesome. The food was fresh and delicious, especially our desserts! Great atmosphere with really nice people. Thank you for being so accommodating.

Our party of 4 enjoyed a wonderful 3 course lunch at Stumpy Gully. The restaurant has a very nice outlook with surrounding decks shaded by umbrellas. The food was excellent and there was enough variety on the menu for everyone. It was very good value given the quality of the food, wine, service and environment.

We just had lunch at Stumpy Gully and I’m going to make this review short and sweet.
The Tasting: run by a very easygoing and knowledgeable young lady who knew her wines.
The Staff: friendly, professional and went out of their way to cater for my partner’s food intolerances…even to the point of making a different sauce for her barramundi.
The Food: ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS…the most enjoyable meal we’ve had out in a VERY long time.
The Cost: great value for money considering how good the food is.
We will definitely be back!

A beautiful lunch at Stumpy Gully Vineyard yesterday. The service was perfect - staff were helpful and friendly. The food was sooo good: my prawn entree was fantastic, the duck was perfectly cooked, but the standout was the lemon curd icecream sandwich. I'd go back just for that!
Wines were great too. Highly recommend

I booked my friend’s 70th birthday lunch! The meal was lovely, 2 courses for $65. Unfortunately the side dishes were not included! Extra cost.
I took cupcakes, no cutting of cake required but still charges $5 per person cake-age!
Coffee not served with the cupcakes- disappointed.
Otherwise a lovely day together.

First time at the vineyard with family and friends had a really nice lunch celebrating a 80th Birthday. The staff and service was great. 10/10.

Food was divine, the Moscato was beautiful, not too sweet, just perfect.and the service was top class, very attentive but not "in your face"! Will defo be coming back again!

Stumpy Gully is one of the nicest places on the Mornington Peninsula. The food is fresh, local produce, and delicious; the service is impeccable; the atmosphere is relaxed; the scenery is lovely; and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful long lunch celebrating a 60th Birthday last Sunday. I would like to thank the whole team at Stumpy Gully Vineyard! Everything was exceptional – from the time I first made the booking, to the meal and service on the day as well as the wonderful setting. Such a beautiful place to celebrate a special event. We will definitely be back!

Very nice winery to visit, $10/person for wine tasting but it's worth to try. If purchase any bottle can get back the credit. Which is reasonable. Friendly staff.
