I could have given 10 starts if it was possible, best food and amazing customer service, the guys treat you like family, I love coming to this place. I’ve been their customer since last 15 years and I will continue to do so.

Really good place for a family meal. I highly recommend the meat platter for 1,2-4 to even 12! Really good value and leaves you full! I suggest a sweat red wine to go with it. And I would also recommend a “galaktoboureko” for dessert.

This hotspot is definitely known for its 24 hour service and lively atmosphere with amazing greek food. As much as I agree, I would say I have had better, but still its a great spot to satisfy your greek cravings!

Meats are nice and tender, jam packed with your classic greek flavours of multiple spices. Tzatziki sauce is nice smooth and creamy with freshness from the cucumbers. Their meat platter is quite a good menu item to try out all their meats. The pita/naan bread is definitely a must in my opinion because its nice and soft, and pairs well always with any souvlaki or gyro.

Their seafood platter is also nice, and the olive oil isnt too overpowering as I find can be an issue for me in some greek restaurants. Calamari is perfectly cooked, which I would recommend trying!

Greek salad is also a nice, simple, classic dish to add to your meal just to lighten up everything that can get quite heavy. That being said, you dont feel sick after eating their meats, which is always a great sign!

Iconic place still producing great souvlakis, there chicken is my choice with lots of lemon yum, great after a night out in cbd

It was our first time eating here and food was great. Just felt bad about the waitress who misunderstood our order and went on about how it was our fault. We didn’t really complain but she became defensive right away. As a customer, I felt attacked. I did appreciate the cashier for helping us out and processing our refund right away. I would come back for the food but hope we won’t get treated that way again.

Particularly large amount of gristle/harder fat lumps in my meal resulted in an over all unpleasant meal.

An always busy Greek restaurant in the heart of the CBD, open 24/7! Scrumptious homemade specials, Greek beers, and an intriguing ceiling make for a regular casual drop-in when hunger calls.

Very disappointing dining experience. Pita bread was burnt (80% of the surface was charred black) and hard - signs of being reheated multiple times. There was hair in the dip, which got replaced. Made the complain and got minor discount for the bread, but were still charged full price for the dip. Dolmades and slow cooked lamb was over bathed in lemon juice. Very disappointed, especially after how much I have raved about the place to overseas visitors and when they went there it was a BIG let down.

Uber eats fail! No delivery! The driver called me and made up a story. I never got my food. I tried to call back but it's a non response phone line. So dodgy. Australians beware!

A standard destination after a night out in Melbourne. Hasn't changed much since we started coming to eat delicious Greek cuisine in the 1970's. Great food and service.

Great food - Souvlakis are amazing. Been here many times and do enjoy the food but my 2 star rating would have to go to the management. I can't help but notice the amount of verbal abuse and shouting the staff experience, It's so unprofessional and humiliating. Staff getting shouted at in front of customers and other staff team members being told how to do things correctly, surely there's a much more respective way to go about this.

Still a great greek food joint. Fresh and flavoursome meat gyros, seafood platter, calamari and pita with dips are just some of our must try. It is conveniently located within CBD of Melbourne and it opend 24 hrs. Whether meal or a quick bite, day or nite this greek joint will fill the craving in your tummy. Highly recommended.

This place is great the food is awesome very delicious very very good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to eat quality food at a reasonable price. The seating arrangement is very nice the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Delicious, meals came out quickly.
We went at about 6pm as we were going to a show, got a table straight away, however the line was out the door when we left half an hour later.
The food was really, really good!

Nice authentic cultural food. Their dine in menu is more expensive than their take out menu for the same food. Having said that they are popular and busy.

This is a fantastic restaurant. When I come here, I always get 3 things, which I highly recommend:

1) the combined lamb/chicken platter
2) the 4 dips
3) the homemade bread (the pitas are good, but this bread is amazing with the dips!)

Also, they are open late, they have great service, and the place is well cared for. If you want Greek food in Melbourne, you can't go wrong at Stalactites.

Get in early or prepare to queue. This place is always busy or packed, having the best Greek food in Melbourne. Also has friendly staff including our favourite waiter, Paris.
