We had breakfast here this morning and have been to so many cafés, and this was absolutely sensational! Amazing food, exceptional coffee and really nice staff! Can’t wait to take my mum here!

Stagger Lee's has been a part of my Melbourne life since moving here a few years ago. At the start it sustained my rental hunting efforts with bloody mary's and the anchovy dish, then it became a place to bring out of towners for brunch, and during lockdowns 1,2 and now 4 they have kept us going with batch brew and the most delicious muffins.

Do yourself a favor and visit Stagger Lee's. The service is unmatched. Cheff Chris and his staff truly care about your dining experience. The food is delicious, and executed to a high standard. Highly recommend!

Breakfast here with a simple scrambled egg and bacon ordered extra crispy with English breakfast tea.

Came out to about $25, standard price for the locale. Firstly, staff very nice, attentive and friendly. Presentation was appealing. The eggs maybe a fraction under done and the plate very small as the two slices of toast served doubled, but the bacon was perfectly crispy as requested, I believe they charge about $7 to add bacon, but it was a really big serve. Over all, incredibly salty though, both eggs and bacon. Will definitely fulfill your sodium requirement for the day. Not sure I am into the dill garnish either, dill is very overpowering, parsley would be a better option. I think the tea was extremely weak and luke warm and the milk was served cold so, was a cold tea every cup. Maybe consider serving hot milk on the side which is standard in cafes in the area. Pretty standard breakfast fare, competitive breakfast market on the street and most other options are better. Staff super cool though. I will try other menu items.

We came here on Sunday from Sydney to surprise our best mate that we never see anymore (thanks COVID) the staff helped us pull the surprise off and we wanted to say a massive thank you! Food was great too and Bloody Mary best we’ve had in a long time! Thanks again Stagger gang!

The typical alternative Melbourne style cafe i was looking for in the Fitzroy area. Food was creatively delicious and coffee was at the Melbourne standard. Highly recommend

Had the chicken fried burger which was too oily to me. Gave this place another go couple of days after and i tried the green salad.
It was really nice. Chilled atmosphere, good place to relax, ok staff. Average prices.

Stayed in the city for the night and decided to come here for breakfast on the way home. We were very happy we did. The kids had eggs on toast. One had gluten free toast which was very good. My wife and I shared an eggs Benedict special which was really tasty. We highly recommend this place and will be back.

I had mushrooms on toast with great coffee. My partner had bacon croquette with poached eggs. Excellent.

My partner and I called in here for brunch. The service was excellent, so friendly and welcoming I felt like I was at home lol.

We both had a strong almond latte which was really tasty. Yum, great start.

My chicken burger was amazing, butter fried deep chicken burger, bacon, cheese, and soo good. Just what I needed hahaha

My Bloody Mary was spicy, and the gherkin and olives were great. It was another great drink, yum!

My partners Mexican dish of burritos was also really good, full of flavour and fresh salad.

Overall this was a solid experience and I will definitely be going back!

Fantastic music and coffee. Loving the special breaky burgers. The crossiants are delicious with special cheese blend! Yummy

No vego/vegan burger options, ordered the Mexican which was expensive and I was still hungry after. Tortillas and friends toast were a bit cold too.

The truffled mushrooms are amazing! Definitely recommend. I ended up adding bacon and a hash to mine which went together pretty well.

Busting with people, write relaxed atmosphere, lots of original menu items, quick and friendly service - in one word, perfect.
