Stagger Lee's Cafe

Was a cute little cafe atmosphere wise. We didn't stay and eat as wasn't our cup of tea menu wise. Was looking for a normal big breakfast and there was nothing appealing to our taste buds

I could say that this is our new fav cafe! We had coffee, eggs in toast and the granola. The cafe was super busy and we had to wait just a bit to order but nothing crazy considering how busy it was.

Best eggs on toast I’ve tried, the toast was easy to bite and not hard at all and the scramble eggs had a unique taste and flavour. Now, the granola really got my taste sense - perfectly designed!

We will definitely come back! Total bill for this plus coffees around $45

A nice casual cafe for a solo brunch. You’ve got to try the Anchovy - it doesn’t look pretty but it is incredibly delicious. White anchovies, sugo and fried egg on toast. It’s so good!

Can't fault this place. Great quality food and awesome coffee. Service is authentic and personable. Haley is the best

I am literally drinking the best oat milk dirty chai, that i've had in a lonnnng time, while watching this rainy brunswick day and i could not be happier!

I love their quinoa Seeds n Greens breakfast. The crispy kale is devine.

Inside has a tasteful country feel with chill music. Outdoor tables are shady south facing on Victoria Street.

Really solid cafe.great service, reliably good and consistent food.best cafe in the area for sure.can be noisy inside when it’s busy but there’s a really nice outdoor area.only thing is it’d be nice to have a vegan burger option as the non-vegan burgers that floated past looked epic.

Wow.hands down best breakfast I've had.ordered eggs Benedict & who would have thought it would come with apple & mint. Yummy.

We went inside, requested a table, and were told to pick a seat because there was table service. We picked a spot outside and waited at least 10 minutes. The 'table service' never seemed to arrive.

Are you allowed to choose outside seats when they say you can 'pick a seat'? Or is that only under strict instruction? Why do you even have outdoor seating if your wait staff are going to disregard it? Just trying to work out what the rules are.

It looks like a good cafe but if it's not gonna serve me then I can't recommend it too highly!

REPLY TO CHRIS: We came in on Saturday afternoon. I imagine we were forgotten because it was really busy.

Stagger Lee's is a larger cafe with good indoor and outdoor dining options. They have a takeaway window here with ready made sandwiches, cakes etc too that is Wella rocked and a good variety. Coffee here is ok and the drinks list is decent. Breakfast menu is great with the normal ashes avo but then also breakfast tacos and a beautiful mushroom dish to be enjoyed. Sides are plentiful on offer but costly! Service is friendly but not overly attentive. Great food but a little on the pricer side when you can end up paying over $80 for a 2 person breakfast with coffees

What a cosy cafe. Love the friendly staff and the atmosphere! The burger was very well constructed with premium ingredients.
The mushroom toast was super crispy and flavoursome. My son loved his eggs on toast and muffin. If you are around looking for a good meal, a good place to dine - this is it!

Great food, great service and the Hepburn Sparkling Mineral Water was so good.ill be ordering some online

Reliably good brunch and coffee. Their "Anchovies" is the ultimate hangover/comfort food - I've been ordering it for years, and love it every time!

My wife and I ordered two cups of takeaway coffee. While we were waiting, it started to rain. Because the place is one quarter empty and there is no one waiting to be seated, we decided to have a seat, drink the coffee inside and wait out the rain.

But immediately after we took a seat, one the male employee approached us, telling us that seats are reserved for dine in customers only and we are not allowed to sit down. We told him that we have already bought two cups of coffee and were simply trying to wait out the rain, but he insisted that we leave the seat empty, despite the fact that no one else was waiting for the seat and it was raining outside.

Thank you very much for being so polite on a public forum and taking the time to explain reasons behind your actions. Hopefully in the future, the same level of high standard can be applied to in person service as well.

Food and service was great, but like so many the seating was very uncomfortable. Haven't any managers heard of cushions

Back here after a couple of weeks inside and I STG that this cafe gets better each time! The Mexican! The coffee!
