I am absolutely disgusted in the service at this store. Can the owner please consider hiring people who have some more respect and genuinely want to work at spotlight like the other spotlight stores I’ve been to? I came specifically to this store for a particular product to be told that they have 2 in stock. When I asked an employee named “Sue” for help, she told me “it’s somewhere in the store, go and find it. ” I can understand that the store gets busy and you may be feeling overwhelmed but its basic etiquette to at least direct me where in the store I could potentially find it. I brushed this off initially and went on my way to find it, needing to climb a ladder myself because no one would offer help. I then get tapped on the shoulder by another employee saying I shouldn’t be up a ladder because it’s OHS and I should find someone to help me instead. I could only scoff at that reply given I would not have been in this predicament in the first place if someone had helped.

After I went to the cash register (note I never found my product and decided to purchase something else), I was served by sue again and she didn’t even greet me like the other customers before and after me. I feel disgusted in this store’s service and would recommend that you reconsider the people who you have employed within this store. If you choose to be in retail providing customer service then keep up to the expected standard.

Extremely rude customer service if you dont like your job simply leave it dont make someone’s else day bad owner of place really should think abt it no one wants to help customers enquires one star too much for them

The messiest and slowest spotlight store I have ever shopped at. Whoever is managing this store should be fired and head office need to seriously consider investing in this important store. Things are everywhere, it's near impossible to get any help from staff who are run off their feet. They are always low on stock and have the slowest customer service in history. Terrible store!

Very bad experience. Will never recommend anyone to go there unless you have no choice. Bad customer service and no price tag at all on rugs or pillows. I asked three staff one was busy with another customer ask me to wait but never shows up. Second one was busy to wipe the desk as part of regulations and said 3 times that it was not her job to give me details of the price on the rugs. She also ask me to bring all the pillows at the counter for her to scan. And the third one at the cash register said that there's nothing much she could do about this. She called a staff on interphone but no one shows up. And then they are surprised why local business are closing down!

I do love Spotlight but unfortunately everytime I visit at Watergardens it is always in such a mess. It is a real shame. I actually choose most of the time travel further to Essendon and go to the one at DFO.

Worst customer service ever. I like to buy stuff from this store but I hate going there now because no one is willing to help you with what you need. Have given them multiple chances but haven’t had a nice experience yet

Spotlight WAtergardens is one of the worst stocked Spotlight stores I have ever been to. I come to this store from time to time in hopes of purchasing some things I am after however, I always leave empty handed and disappointed. The stock never seems to be replenished and staff have no idea half the time. Hopefully it can improve as this is the closest store to me.

They always have great discounted items on top of the weekly specials, wide variety of house hold items and also arts, crafts and lots of different fabrics

The absolute worst service attendant I've ever encountered. Rolled eyes when I asked if possible to call another store, totally not interested in helping. Not even busy at the time. Very disappointing

A lot of options but prices are 3 times more than other stores. Its very messy and more than half of the items have no prices marked on the shelves neither on the item itself.

So much better than when i was a kid and had to stare at endless rolls of material knowing ninja turtles was on tv at home until mum showed mercy and we ran for the exit (while mum walked to the register).

Spotlight Watergardens needs to be more tidier and organised.
It's overcrowded with the stock quite often needed help from the retail staff on the floor, which is very busy.

Store is disgracefully messy. Products strewn all over the floor, open packaging, shelves are messy and unorganised. Carpet needs a jolly good vacuum. Many items without prices. I understand it a big store and craft items can be difficult to keep tidy, but this is disgraceful.

Going in 30 minutes before closing just needed to grab a few things for my wedding and the fabric chick was definitely rude and so unhelpful. I would think if you worked at a craft store you would need some training and knowledge about different things the store offer. Trying to get information out from her was hectic and then she turned around said take this stuff my shift ends now and said next time I should come in when there is more time and I have an idea of what I wanted. If I had more time I wouldn't have come in 30 minutes before the store closed as I was getting married 2 days later. I literally just needed to know if you had navy fabric 10cm thick to hang on an archway. I've always loved spotlight but definitely making me rethink going there.

Very messy and unorganized, there wasn't any one to ask a simple question and when I found someone she didn't seem to be happy to help at all. Very rude and no customer service whatsoever.

Always looks messy. Staff (some) don't appear happy in their job. Need more serving staff. Sales are not that good with limited stock. Desperately needs a revamp.
