Spotlight Watergardens reviews
73 Went there with a problem, one of the workers helped me a great deal and it benefited my financially.
Easy access and lots of parking
Staff is very rude at this store.
Do not expect any help from them at all. They don't bother to help their customers at all. The guy and lady at the front very rude.
The person was unhelpful and in a hurry. It's very frustrating that you come to a speciality store like this and the customer service person knows nothing about craft or sawing. Very disappointed.
Rarely get the assistance needed with products in-store. Don't bother trying to call through to check stock either. You get hung up on after being left on hold forever or get told to come in to look.
Carmel from burnside was amazing!
I needed help with purchasing some material I didn’t know where to start, she went out of her way to listen to what I needed and got me exactly what I needed!
I’m so happy with her service!
She signed me up as a member! Fantastic!
Better service is required here, party and costume area very messy stock all over the floor, packages opened and missing items! Obviously in need of more staff.
Been in the store today and yet again had to queue. Waited 15 minutes to be served. If I had time to go somewhere else I would have dumped my purchases and left. Terrible customer service!
Have multiple different desk but none are unable to help other areas, but what to do when one areas on break? Dumb, had to stand around wait for 20mins. Also told that if online says low stock, that means no stock, how about just saying no stock. Poorly ran store.
I had unpredictable customer service experience in Burnside branch yesterday between 6-6.45pm which I never had before any of spotlight including this one. Sales girl who attend me at the counter does nothave any customer service experience, did rude attitude, treated as rubbish thronging on my face. The product item I bought had VIP discount she refused to give by saying system is not showing. She grab different product price tag from shelf to show me that product does not have special discount. However, when I grab and showed the correct price tag, she said its for VIP. I had to say I am VIP to shut her off to play the dirty game (VIP on my husband name in the system). During holiday it is hard to work but I am sure she is getting appropriate salary to work and agreed to work on that day. I believe before appoint anyone in customer service role, employer should check whether girl or boy have capabilities to speak with manner and respect to people from diverse cultural background for the sack of shop reputation and well serve to community.
A reasonably big spotlight with huge collection of household items. I have had some good wins from last minute store discounts. The store is very well organised and maintained with lots of car parking space.
Moved to the other end of town but still the same store offering great value for all crafters. Plenty of Christmas decorations and ideas. With other great stores close by like, JB hifi, Baby Bunting, etc.
They seem to be either running out of room or stocking more things not to do with craft and diy The aisles well the main one to go to the back half of the store is getting fuller and fuller of pillows.mats.rugs and apecials and it does make it hard to keep 1.5 mtrs apart as they ask us to.also not sure if spotlight know for sure what direction they want to go they have items for every part of the house.to me spotlight isnt a place to go and buy a baking dish.thats what a kitchen store is for.
*Edit* since my last post the store hasnt changed much in how the aisles are packed with goods
Better service is required here, party and costume area very messy stock all over the floor, packages opened and missing items!
Well established building. With some… good staff. Some isles very messy but it is a huge store so can’t complain. Found what I was looking for, but not with much ease.
Good shop great location but they did not design the store to be pram/ trolley friendly. Stuff was everywhere and only 1 register was open due to some systems not working.
Unhelpful staff wouldn’t listen to what we were asking for very disappointing customer service
Terrible customer service, and a bad store. Head office management should be ashamed.
Hope Spotlight goes out of business!
I have been to spotlight burnside many times. I do not want to say they prefer certain race over others but it looks like it every time I go there. Other people of color sew their garments alot because they still wear traditonal outfits. And when they buy material, it is usually in bulk.
The staffs are not that friendly compared to other spotlight stores. I have been to spotlight Highpoint, South Morang, Hoppers crossing, South Melbourne and Essendon and had a wonderful time shopping. Maybe spotlight burnside need to educate their staffs on multiculturalism and how to interact.
A good shopping experience is usually nice when staffs are smiling and accommodating. It's called good customer relation. Most women there look like they hate life and miserable talking to people of color. Especially at the cutting material counter.
Being smiled at and asked how your day has been going at the counter, and have small chats sometimes makes the customer feel happy even if it is just a store policy. Take note spotlight burniside!
This store had me in stitches. Sorry about the dad joke. Fairly big store, so more range than other Spotlight stores.
