OMG. Smith and Deli/Smith and Daughters are vegan lords. Anything you try from here will be amazing. Huge range of grocery items as well as breakfast and coffee takeaway goods. Lots of gluten free options!

A little pricy, but you get what you bloody pay for. Cannot wait to go here again its a must whenever I'm in Melbourne!

The best vegan lunch food! Heaps of made to order sandwiches, treats, and drinks. Best of all everything is vegn

Always great food here, I enjoyed a tasty sausage roll and an awesome peanut butter and chocolate brownie topped donut for lunch
Get in early as freshly baked options can run out in the afternoon.

Great tasting food but the prices are just ridiculous. A simple cheese and pesto sandwich for $9 - really? ! Another simple sandwich for $16!
Can't wait until someone opens a place with reasonable prices

Two words. Wiggham sandwich.
If a week passes by without a visit to Smith n Deli, it is not a great week. Great for Vegan shopping and lunch I have tried many other sandwiches but always return excitedly to the 'Wiggham'. I have made the call to many a person, the Wiggham is the finest sandwich I have ever eaten. Friends have tested my call and more than a handful concur and have become hooked. Thank S&D for gifting us with such a delight.perfect balance of flavors. Also the marinated prawns have become a fav takeaway for cooking later.

This old brick building contains wonders on the inside. Magic sandwiches, muffins and more - vegan and sure to delight all food lovers.

There’s also specialty groceries and good coffee. If you’re visiting Melbourne like I was, consider it a must.

I want to give this place 5 stars because of its excellent range of vegan options and creativity with their delicious offering.
The biggest issues with this place, are:
- The line! In peak periods, the wait to order is about 10-15 minutes, with a further 10-15 minute wait for your food and drink. This seems to be a common issue that others share with this place. It would be awesome if ordering could be easier and faster! There's not really a sense of urgency.
- Nowhere to sit to eat or wait, unless you go to the nearby park. It's entirely take away. Would be great if it were more a cafe than a take away, although the space itself is small.

Literally the nicest people and the best food you will ever eat. So many options. I suggest going right before 11: 30am so you can expand on your options.get yourself an egg McMartinez or Maury Ballstein or a cheeseburger pie.unghhhhh or the whole menu! You'll be delighted in your mouth. Plus there is a bunch of super amazing vegan treats to purchase while you wait for your order.

OMG! This place was amazing and I am so glad I stopped here. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly! I will come back here next time I am in Melbourne.

This was my wife's favourite restaurant (she's vegan) but it's just getting stupid expensive.teh food is ok, the service is ok bu the prices are too much for vegan food

I had the most insanely delicious GF Vegan brownie from here, they have so much awesome stuff. Highly recommend

So friendly and such a good range of vegan food. They have vegan groceries too and the beyond meat burger. Amazing coffee too!

Great place and food. Everything is vegan and delicious. Location is slightly hidden and place can be cramped, especially meal times. Staff is friendly. Lots of pantry, fridge, and freezer food available to. Totally recommend

Incredible vegan deli! Food is delicious and customer service is top quality. Staff always have smiles and welcoming attitudes. This place is in high demand though - so be ready to wait in a sometimes sprawling queue! But don’t let that turn you away, as the queue is long for a reason ;)

The food is to die for. The GF wiggum is my absolute favourite as well as the array of treats and baked goods in the cabinet.
