Shizuku Ramen & Craft Beer reviews
75Excellent whiskey ramen, malt mixed with other subtle flavours made for a pleasantly surprising broth. Keep up the good work guys!
Easily one of the best places I’ve eaten at in the last 12 months! The staff were absolutely great and friendly and the food was delicious! I can’t recommend it highly enough!
We found the ramen to be okay but nothing special. The menu suggests they use high quality ingredients but the food just tasted and looked okay. The price was also high for a fairly ordinary meal. The restaurant had beautiful decor and dim lighting which would have created a beautiful atmosphere had it not been the Uber eats drivers coming in and going out of the restaurant every 5 minutes. Overall, it was fine but we would not visit again. There are other superior ramen restaurants.
Some of the best ramen I've had in Melbourne, and the biggest range of Japanese craft beers I've ever seen.
Wonderful little Ramen shop. Very chill. Parking in the area isn't great but well worth the effort. Was very impressed with the availability of Orion Beer!
The sign is confusing and made me think this was a vegan restaurant but I was really impressed by the food.
Love this place. Sometimes I feel like I'm in a Japanese anime when I come here. I'll sit in a corner alone, vibe out to the instrumental hip hop beats in the background and enjoy some tasty food. You can't go wrong with the chicken karage don or the prawn katsu bao.
This place is in my Top 2 ramen in Melbourne. The only issue is you have to try have the Karaage chicken and the gyoza too, so you better get your eating boots on. Get there. Get there now!
Modern menu with quality and unique ingredients. Vegan meals also available! There is actually so much to choose from on their menu. Cant find their creations anywhere else. Price is higher than your average ramen.but then again, this is no average ramen
I thought the menu here was semi-expensive, but there's a really big selection of ramen, sides, drinks and more.
I had a Shoyu Ramen which was tasty, but the pork was quite rubbery and tough. Egg was boiled, cold and bland. I've certainly had better elsewhere.
Very good beer list with wide range of styles. Bao were fantastic and enjoyed the soft shell crab and rice dish. Did not try ramen. Staff were great.
Menu is really difficult to read, just pages floating around. We ordered 2 dishes, one was incorrect and then we were charged more than we were suppose to. The tempura was dry and overcooked.
Severe (nut-based) allergic reaction to something not made clear on the ingredients or a cross-contaminant. We think likely peanut oil, or pine-nuts based on past experience (the reaction severity and symptoms). Extremely expensive for the provided portion sizes and average (at best) quality.
Had the tan tan men. Little suspicious of the menu, as generally when it comes to Ramen, trying to do amillion varieties doesn't usually equate to quality, and this place has a big menu!
Glad to report that the tan tan men was quite good. Balanced amount of heat (no numbing spice? With a flavorful broth. Noodles were nice and chewy.
It's 5 stops on the train for me to get here for lunch, but I'll try get here and try one of the other ramens.
Huge portions and quite delicious. Will take several visits to try and even make a dent at trying everything on the menu. Karage popcorn chicken is so good
