Sheraton Melbourne Hotel reviews
67Nice rooms and good service. Pretty close to the famous laneways, some tourist sites and one of the business districts
Hotel is clean, inviting and comforting. Room service was less than I felt it should have been given the quality of the rest of the hotel.
Located in the heart of downtown Melbourne which meant it was walking distance to an amazing selection of dining options. The hotel staff were polite and the place always well kept. They used botanical perfumes in the lobby that diffused throughout each level. It added a calming tone to the ambience. The whole hotel gives off a luxurious feel. The views from the rooms weren't amazing but that wasn't a priority for us.
I came here shortly the other day and found it lovely. The conference areas were quite nice, and the room was lovely.
I am quite happy with the spa and restaurant service in here. I am writing because I don’t feel like I was being treated as a customer by the concierge. When I walked out of the main door. I was greeted by the staff in the concierge and I replied back politely. And then a very strange thing happened. The same staff came out and gave a good stare of me. Did he actually think I am a thief because I came out of the hotel by myself? I am not a complain type of person and I don’t want to complain about individuals. I believe this is a problem of the management team. However, as I can see in here they don’t care about negative comments from the guests. Do they really welcome guests who are not staying at the hotel to use their facilities with a huge price?
Went for high tea. The staff went above and beyond to cater for my strict dietary requirements. I didn't feel like I missed out on anything delicious. The chef explained what was in everything then came over later to make sure I liked everything. Highly recommend.
