Sheraton Melbourne Hotel reviews
67 Best spa day ever!
Beautiful facilities. Lovely massage and facial.
Friendly staff, clean, so relaxing and felt a million dollars after. Will book again!
2 fellas and we were made to feel relaxed and comfortable!
Love this place,
A beautiful little Oasis right in the heart of Melbourne. Beautiful friendly team, that makes you feel welcomed with a smile.
The outdoor “hidden” terrace is a favourite of mine.
Great place to relax. Amazing time spent with my wife. Day spa, jacuzzi, swimming pool. The terrace bar. The friendly staff. Easy and quick places around the area for food. Dine in or take away. Will come back for sure
Love this place,
The staff and service I beautiful. I was impressed at the hygiene level and how clean everything is.
Impressive, and important during these testing times.
I’ll definitely be coming back for my lazy weekends!
Great hotel, very clean with covid protocols in place. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to James at reception who was extremely helpful.
Lifts are very small. And with one 'out of service', (and Co-vid protocols) Took a lot of time to check-out (if you are on the middle floors). Otherwise the stay was rather nice. Guest services also responded rather quickly.
Stayed for one night, very friendly and down to earth customer service. Loved the comfy bed and walk in huge ensuite.
I'll break this review into two parts: the hotel itself first and the level 3 spa second.
Check-in was quick and easy, with a Wilson car park just across the road that can be validated at the hotel reception. The room itself was clean & spacious, with a nice atmosphere and a reasonable view of the MCG. Room service was quick and efficient as well. Our room was upgraded free-of-charge on check-in, which was a nice surprise.
Sadly, the room was very warm. Two phone calls to reception during the night didn't seem to fix the issue, so a very sleepless and uncomfortable night followed. The room service selection for food all seemed quite expensive, so I recommend to check out the local restaurants, many of whom deliver to the hotel.
The breakfast the following morning was terrible. The omelette was overcooked, with an unusual aftertaste. The singular, unbuttered slice of bread upon which the omelette was placed made the meal look like something more likely to be served in a hospital. The eggs Benedict was OK.
For a silver lining, the hotel removed some of our room service bill upon hearing of our issues.
The experience itself was a disappointment, and were it not for the spa, this review would likely be lower.
The spa was the saving grace of the whole experience. We had a couple's massage, which included a facial, full body scrub and a full body massage for 90 minutes. It was delightful, peaceful and left both of us feeling more relaxed than either of us had been for some time.
As a spa, I couldn't fault it. As a hotel, I've stayed in nicer accommodation for less, so I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
Sadly this Sheraton got no Club Lounge and free breakfast for Platinum member, overall I still have great stay with the hotel.
The room I got is very clean and comfortable.
Really lovely hotel. Great location. Excellent rooms. Comfy bed. Friendly staff. The views from most of the rooms is a little poor unless you're up high. Which is mighty expensive. Other than that. Fun times.
Strategically located, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Spoilt for choice for food that's just a stone's throw away from the hotel
After staying in 20-30 hotels in the melbourne city compound. This is by far my favorite. Ideal location, exception staff and rooms. Faultless in my opinion and well worth ecery cent.
Great location, the staff at reception are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size, comfortable bed, nice desk to work from and a excellent bathroom. Highly suggest this hotel.
Had high tea in the Sheraton. $59 per person. Food selection was ok, 3 tiers of savory and sweet offerings. Not value for money, but you're paying for the service and ambiance. Staff were friendly, did their best to treat customers right, very well mannered. Decor of the place was a bit disappointing. Not a grand room for high tea. I've been to the Sheraton in Sydney and found the decor nicer than the Melbourne one. Hence 4 stars rather than 5.
Pleasant stay, rooms a tiny bit dated but clean and noticeably quiet. Staff were courteous but could have offered some information than just processing the credit card during check in. Melbourne isn't that big really so location is fine for almost any city activities.
We loved our room - it was large, and bright, and the bathroom was very nice. The bar was in a sunny position, and the pool was long enough to feel like you could get away from others. Our room overlooked the garden of a men-only club; I was excited at the thought we could look into it, but the design doesn't allow (which I'm sure was negotiated). One of the trees is 10 stories high! So impressive! Service all through our stay was excellent, friendly and professional.

Stayed at this hotel for work conference. Had very mixed experience during our stay. Lobby and reception team were exceptional, very understanding of our needs and took the time to explain things (locations and directions, as well as going the extra mile) Unfortunately the same can't be said about the food and beverage team who are more interested in hovering like vultures to clear your plates. Another team member completely ignored my colleague who was trying to explained that she had dietary requirements during our conference dinner but she got two words before he walked off (only to return after 10 mins to ask why she hadn't received her food) Not too fussed with the rooms as we didn't stay in them for long but the service from they hotel team really left an impression.
Lovely hotel in a convenient location. Rooms are spacious and well updated. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Modern and clean rooms.great hotel overall very well located. But please please, work on setting upxa proper gym, it's way too small.
