Seasons Provedore reviews
76This would be the best Italian food we have ever eaten! Amazing food, excellent service! I cannot express how delicious the food was. We ordered both pizza, pasta and tiramisu. All were mouthwatering!
Liked this Italian restaurant. They can customize any pasta for you out of the menu. Just ask them.
Warmly staff and original Italian taste with covid safety practices.
Best dine in restaurant and best gnocchi in town
Worth of every penny
Had a terribly poor experience due to 1 simple thing - false advertising. I was expecting an authentic italian meal (whole first page on the menu even goes on about how they take pride in their authenticity and use of the highest quality ingredients) but was met with the basic western equivalent.
The carbonara came out with bacon instead of guanciale (based on photos from reviewers, it looks like this is not a one off) and evident use of cream in the sauce (no mention in the menu). Im really not fussed about a restaurant's recipe but not so fond of being told "A" and getting "B". I would have dined at any other italian restaurant on Lygon st had this place been honest in their menu.
Margherita Pizza (used shredded mozarella vs dollops of fresh mozarella on store bought pizza base) and 4 Cheese Gnocchi (more creamy with hints of cheese) were still tasty but again a far cry from the authentic Italian food the restaurant claimed.
Mains took an hour to reach our table. Service and waitstaff however were great, the only saving grace from getting 1 star. Feedback passed about the menu which I really do hope they take on stride to update with the actual ingredients they use in their cooking.
Stopped in after a movie. Was told they could make a vegan dish and after I was seated was told that only the gf pasta is vegan. I don't think that gf pasta is made in house. It was the worst pasta I ever had. On the plus side the staff were attentive.
Went for dinner here with my partner last Wednesday. It is often difficult to choose a spot on Lygon due to the excessive options and people trying to drag you in to their restaurants, we decided to go for Seasons because of their laidback approach and the comfort of seeing pasta being freshly made in the window. Nick was our host who offered us 10/10 service, great knowledge of the menu and awesome with people. We decided to go for two off the specials menu - the beef rib Ragu and the chili prawn Gnocchi. Both were amazing and literally the best Italian we had eaten for a long time. Will 100% be back again. Congrats to Nick and the rest of the crew at Seasons.
Staff were nice but forgot our order. The "authentic" Italian pizza seemed straight out of the frozen section of the supermarket. Pasta was average
Amazing Gnochi and pizza. Pillow gnochi and nice freshly made pizza. Very nice food and very attentive service.
This place used to be really good, can’t believe how I was treated. Very disappointed to say the least.
Lovely restaurant with very friendly staff delivering excellent service. We had a pasta dish and a pizza, both of which were delicious and generous in portion. We left very full and very happy!
Pizza was really nice. However the gnocchi portions were very small considering the price. It was not listed on the menu that the bruschetta would be covered in cheese. Worst of all, we were offered sparkling water when we arrived and were not told that there would be A $7 CHARGE. Service was also not pleasant, asked the waitress for a bottle of water and she walked straight past them and never brought it to us. A disappointing experience honestly.
Incredible food! We were promised melt in your mouth gnocchi and it was delivered! A beautifully authentic experience with a lovely atmosphere. I couldn't recommend seasons any higher.
The deal was that if we didn't enjoy the food, we weren't to pay for it. Firstly I fully believe that they would honour that deal. Secondly, I don't believe that they will ever have to.
I was so excited at the fresh pasta hanging in the window and thought this looks like such an authentic Italian place. I also checked the reviews and everyone seemed to speak positively about the food. Unfortunately in my experience the food was sub-standard. The pizza base was hard and not easy to chew and the cheese was over done with an extremely rubbery texture. The pasta itself was good and Al dente but the Napoli sauce was overly sweet with waaaay too much sugar. Overall a very disappointing meal. The service was pretty good and the waiter offered us a free glass of wine which was very generous but due to the low food quality in my experience, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant when there are so many better options on Lygon.
Amazing food and great staff! I recoment the home made gnocchi that melts in your mouth. Pizza was average but still good.
This restaurant employs uninsured staff with salaries below the minimum wage. Keep in mind when you go.
