Seasons Provedore reviews
76 Good service,
unfortunately the food quality is not all there.pizza was not good at all crust was like a frozen Coles pizza the pasta was not all that tasty: (the bruschetta and hopt chips was the best part.you expect much better quality when heading down "Lygon" st to get Italian food.
The bad:
Not a fan of the Pizza crust.
The sauce in the mussels was also a bit too salty. The saffron seafood risotto was overcooked.
The good:
The gnocchi was really soft and it grows on you.
The Bolognese was alright.
The Risotto balls was amazing!
Cheesy garlic bread was also really good.
I still thought it was a pleasant experience because of the waitress! She was alone serving many tables but still had such a pleasantness and a big smile. She made us feel really welcome even as a group of six.
I don't like writing bad reviews but this restaurant was terrible. The first waiter forgot to put through our order, then the manager took it again 20mins later. Another waiter put a dish on our table that we didn't order, had to speak to manager to say we didn't order this and didn't want it. I think they were very understaffed with only the manager knowing what she was doing. The service by other 2 waiters showed little experience in hospitality.
The pizza was terrible. Tasted like a woolworths base with cheep cheese and terrible sauce. The mains were yummy, and tasty but still didn't have the Lygon st quality you'd expect (even though pasta and gnocchi were home made). I'd suggest going to another restaurant. We won't be returning here.
Absolutely the best meals.
Pappardelle lamb Ragu and Seafood Risotto. Highly recommend
Excellent service, great food and great wine. Really good experience. First time on Lygon st, this Carlton fan will be back
THIS IS IT. GO TO HERE! LOOK NO FURTHER. *is there a 8 star option yet?
Amazing food topped with even more incredible genuine service. The marinara and gnocchi is NOW our favourite. We came from Perth and Bline straight to seasons for dinner knowing how incredible it is and it's already continued to exceed our expectation.
Waited for over an for my food, people that got there 30 mins after us got it before us. Terrible experience.
The food is unbelievably delicious. Best gnochhi I have ever eaten, freshly hand made, texture was like eating soft pillows. We loved it.
Amazing service from a sole front of restaurant person in a busy place and the food was sensational.
Food was amazing great service even with kids the front of house lady was amazing and so friendly towards my kids I will be coming back again.
Delicious homemade pasta! Arancini balls are huge and super yummy! Love their cheesy garlic bread! Cosy dinning and friendly waitresses.
Great food but smallish portion sizes. We had the gnocchi and were left wanting more. They also only had one poor waiter who was run off her feet.
My son & I went here on after movie at Nova. Being Anzac Day not all restaurants were open for dinner but we like to try places we haven't dined before. We had different Gnocchi dishes each and as it said in the menu "it was melt in the mouth" beautiful & delicious. How could it not be with the Gnocchi & Pasta Queen working diligently in the front window. I complimented her on the fabulous fresh Gnocchi we had enjoyed and she was gracious and thanked us for our feedback. I have a photo of mine which I hope I can still post to accompany.
We came here for lunch and we’re not disappointed. Great service and the entrees and mains were fabulous.
Terrible food. The pizza was cold, the pizza base was not cooked properly, the marinara was saturated in tomatoe sauce that was off the shelf. The pasta was not home made as displayed in front of the shop. The service was terrible, we waited 1.45 hours for the food. This is not an Italian restaurant. It's run and owned by non Italians. If you are looking for Italian experience give this place a miss.
If I have to close my eyes to the fact they're not Italians, I would say that the food is above standards in many places with Italian owners.
So, pretty satisfied. They shine with gnocchi, but pappardelle are really good too.
Good location/hospitality
Food very average or below average
Watered down scotch on the rocks
Great friendly service, we had 2 pizzas and the seafood risotto, then a pancotta with strawberry sauce. It was all really good and got our full attention.
Customer service was so good!
All stuff was really care about us and food was amazing too!
Best pasta ever! Service was amazing & even got a complimentary dessert:) thank you, will be back!
