Seasons Provedore reviews
76Absolutely amazing food, great service from the host seating us, as well as all the staff! I would come back here definitely, super glad we came down Lygon St and got poached by the host lol!
Had a meal here, was delicious!
We ordered a pizza, salad, the gnocchi and some wine.
Could not fault them.
Portions were more than enough, we left with full bellies - could not fit in dessert!
Prices were reasonable, a little on the high side, but leaving with full bellies and satisfied with the flavours was enough to justify the prices.
Would come back to try the other dishes.
Good flavours and pasta textures. Fair pricing. Could improve on the table decor and portion sizing. Also please expand and include vegan options. Or at least educate the waitresses to recommend vegetable/sauce/pasta options to a customisable vegan dish.
Enjoyed this meal, really great food and service. A little higher price but that next level up from most. Great service and food to match
Great service and seriously amazing food. I had the Gnocchi Amatriciana (night special). Gnocchi was perfectly cooked.
The staff gifted us a Panna Cotta. Thank you again!
Great food, love my seafood squid ink pasta but my friend order a seafood stew which he doesn’t like as it’s too much of the sauce
The entree and the pastas are surprisingly good! We love the squid ink pasta and the mussel soup with sourdough. The waitors are very friendly and nice too. It is one of the best and authentic Italian restaurants in Melbourne i ever dined. Strongly recommend.
Great little place to eat at. You can watch them make your gnocci in front of you. And the sauce that came with mine was very flavoursome.
A great Restaurant situated in the heart of Lygon Street, Seasons Provedore is where you go for Fresh Deliciously prepared food, Cosy ambience and Very friendly Service.
Earlier we were offered discount on food and drinks on house so we went to this place but they haven't done anything as promised. Daily specials are nice but expensive compared to the menu items. Oysters are Soo tiny. Should try gnocchi
From the moment of our arrival the staff were at our service. A truly great experience. The pasta was fresh and cooked perfectly. We had a paña cota for dessert (which the owner brought to our table on the house) and again this was executed perfectly, taste and texture 10 out of 10. Glad we live around the corner, will definitely be back.
Amazing food. Even more amazing hospitality.
We had gone to Lygon street as we wanted to go to an Indian restaurant for Indian food. But while walking from the car park, we saw this restaurant and thought of trying it out instead. And we were not disappointed!
We ordered Arancini balls (4 cheese) and Garlic bread for entrees. The Arancini balls were just amazing.
Mains were Gnocchi - one in pesto sauce and another in red sauce. We also ordered Diavola Pizza. The restaurant does not do false advertisement when they say theirs is the best hand made gnocchi. It is certainly the best - so fluffy! The pizza was also amazing.
For desserts we orders choco lava cake and pana cota. When we cut into the cake - ooh - just pure love! This is a real lava cake.
A special thanks to our host as well on that day - Mr. Ricky Dhingra! He was amazing. So was our server - Jaanam. Thank you for a great dinner experience.
Got a 40% discount, but the food still doesn’t worth the price. Food is very average. It seems like the restaurant is own by Asian.
The food was absolutely delicious probably the best I’ve ever had I actually left my hat there and the man came running all the way down the street to give it back to me! The cheese Arancini balls are delicious and I totally recommend eating there! From Vihaan Vaddadi 12 year old boy
Waiters stood right behind us and made us feel uncomfortable. Service was okay and food was not too bad
Besides being located in a prominent location, there isn't much great about this place. The staff are not very helpful, the taste of food is average or less. We ordered the Gnocci Sorrentina and Tagliatelle Napoli. The taste was so bland, lacked salt and other flavour and it felt like we were just eating heated up tomato paste out of a bottle with some half boiled pasta in it. The portion sizes are reasonable for the prices they charge, but that's where the issue is. The portion size is larger than one would need so you end up eating more and paying more. That may be their strategy to make more money, perhaps. Anyway, needless to say, I was not impressed.
Food is okay. Service is okay.
Dined with discount and valued. However depends if it’s worth to eat at full priced.
This is the GO TO place for gnocchi.
Amazing table service and food comes out at just the right time.
I can't stress this enough: Buy the gnocchi! Their other specials such as crispy Atlantic salmon are excellent too.
Arancini Balls were really filling - Bolognese filling preferred.
Pizza like from Coles, seafood rice poor 3 prawns 3 scallops even chips terrible, never go back, I would give less 1 start i could
ITS A SCAM!
false advertisting.there is nothing “authentic” about this “italian cuisine”. Take my word for it:)
