80DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS I purchased a $2500 pc had it home for less than 2 days and it constantly freezing and dropping out. I returned it to be told it was our gaming software and to uninstall and reinstall it. This had nothing to do with it as I used it for work purposes as well and was extremely slow and constantly. They refused to issue a refund and I have now opened a case through consumer affairs. Save your time and money and buy from a reputable suppliers where you know you can return it if any issues
I have shopped with Scorptec online a few times over the last few years and their professionalism and service have always been first class. Freight times even during covid and December rush were still fast. Absolutely recommended.
Helpful in allowing the return of an item which we had unpacked and then found we didn't need. Always helpful.
Ordered an item online, paid for it and selected pick up, got no notification 2 days, drove over to pick it up and was told I missed out and I'd have to wait another week.
Called scorptec to inquire about a modem they had in stock no one picked up. I drove down walked into the store where I was the only customer. The staff member asked had I placed a click and collect order and I said no I must have overlooked it. But I then asked how long will the wait be and he said 20mins. I didn't have that time because I was on my break. I asked can I just pick it up now since you have it in the back store room. He said no he cannot only click and collect orders are available. I was left with no choice but to take my business else where. This is the image off their website in small blue righting stating click and collect.
Good website, nice offers from time to time but terrible customer service (at South Melbourne centre). I would only recommend online purchases from here.
Prices are competitive, but the knowledge of some of the staff is VERY questionable. Telling a customer to cut the third pin off an RGB fan so it can fit into a ARGB header is NOT what you should advise! Could have fried it completely. Thankfully I didn't take the advice.

Great shop with fantastic bunch of people. I have bought two gaming rigs, two laptops from these fine people and no major issues at all.
Good service when it comes to sales but terrible aftersales support.
The service department does not take phone calls.
I requested a call back multiple times over email but now one bothers to call.

24-11-2020 - Returned Monitor to Sth Melb store
25-11-2020 - Approved for warranty after successful verification of problem
17-12-2020 - Approved for Warranty by supplier
11-01-2021 - Item sent to supplier
29-01-2021 - Item ready to be returned to customer
29-01-2021 - Item dispatched to Clayton
I asked for the items to be returned to Sth Melb store on 29-01-2021.
Today is 04-02-2021 still no monitor.
So far 72 days without a monitor.
Why did it take from 25-11-2020 to 11-01-2021 to send the monitor back to supplier?
Who thinks this is a reasonable service?
I say don't bother with Scorptec or claim your warranty through the Manufacturer directly.
I will certainly think twice before buying anything from Scorptec in the future.
Amazing store and there customer service sales staff are great! Got all the components I need for my workstation for very good value and it all arrived at my door a day later!
Trash Tier service. Never answers the phone, takes 2 months to tell me there's nothing wrong with my faulty monitor so not covered by warranty, refuses to plug it in at the store to show me there's nothing wrong. I go home to test it and sure enough the same problem is still there with different cables and ports. Now calling customer service again and being put on hold for 30 min while they try to contact their out of town technician.
This is their so called "nothing wrong with the monitor"
Edit: Talked to the higher level manager Arthur. He claims he doesn't see a difference at all with these photos. Guy needs glasses. I guess when you deny reality you don't have to honor any sort of warranty.

I've been using Scorptec in South Melbourne for all of my computing needs for many years now. Back when they were located on Clarendon Street. One: because I'm lucky enough that They're only a 10 minute walk away from home and Two: because every time I've gone there for something they've had exactly what I needed in stock and reasonably priced too.
Understaffed and under trained. This store was struggling with just a handful of customers waiting for click and collect.
Purchase made online with a click and collect quickly even during the Christmas period. Christian was very kind and very professional. I'll be back to shop from them

Quick and friendly support. Never had a issue with the products of wrose case no issues with warranty/support.
Very warm and welcoming customer service, in particular, by Shaun Martin. Awesome guy to talk to, if there is anything you need to know about IT, it would be this guy. Very quick and professional, if there is something your not sure about, he will stop and explain it to the best of his abilities to suit the customer's understandings. Always extremely polite, well mannered and has a cool, calm head on him.
My system isn't working properly, and straight away he told me to bring it in at my next convenience. I would recommend his professional assistance to anyone.
I purchased a custom system with Scorptec at the end of January. While it did have some issues with the system build, I managed to correct them myself and the staff were both helpful with assistance and apologetic for the issues.
Sales team are knowledgeable and I was pleasantly surprised with their after-sales service.
