I request consequences of a female ‘manager’ who served me over the phone on her disrespectful attitudes and behaviour. First, she tries to foolish me by offering me the same amount of refund ($20) in different ways like $20 off on certain items or store credit etc.without listening to my complaints. She didn’t respond to my complains and even arrogantly judge my purchase by saying, ‘consider you have already got $100 off on this monitor…’ while ignoring the fact that I was misled by sales team. Please conduct actions on her behaviour and attitudes so I can withdraw this conversation. I would like to receive her apologies over the phone.
It’s been quite a few weeks but I have received anything from Scorptec.

Really nice staff. I was about to leave after waiting there for the staff handling another customer’s refund. But later, I found the guy was really patient and nice, never rushes to the next customer/sales. It made me feel like he just want to treat every customer very well and everyone will get what they want from here at the end of the day. Also, he introduced products very patiently to me. Recommend the shop and the staff there.

Similar to many, have always done my orders online for the longest time, however, was fortunate enough to visit the store recently which is right next to South Melbourne Market. Excellent service by Aki and the crew. Highly recommended to drop by if you still haven't yet, whether for a large order or just to buy a mouse.

Never had any problems in the past, but ordered a monitor to be delivered. Was instead delivered to a post office several KMs away, with a claim that delivery was attempted (was home all day, no delivery attempt was made).

Redelivery was refused. Only option was to pay double postage and reorder. Disappointing CS.

Won't be shopping Scorptec again

Pretty cool, my dad went there for his computer and I was amazed at all the cool gadgets they had. The fans were rainbow! Also there's a racing set up, I tried to play but it didn't work for me.: (
I don't understand computers but my dad does, he says it's a really good quality place that's why it's quite expensive. Seeing the things he got now looks cool, the led is the best. I learnt some stuff too about the fans by my dad, but yeah if your like me you will need alot of guidance through this

They do it answer their phones. I’m calling to see if they have enough stock. Was on hold for 6 minutes and the phone automatically says that they’re all busy and to use the website. The same site that says to calll ahead
Needed 3 fans, they had two, waited in line for 30 minutes to watch twin old boomers not buy anything and find that out

I called 4 times and was hung up on by the system they use after 5 minutes. I’m not buying anything on principle now.
Waste of an hour and a half round trip and line never coming back

Absolutely love this place. Good product choices and great personalised advice on what will work for individual needs and use-case. Easy and hassle free returns and great after sales service. Their support team is real knowledgeable too.

I bought a brand new 3090 from Scorptec in Clayton. Unfortunately it was faulty. Drove back to them to do some testing, (I live an hour and a half away) they recommended I buy a new PSU. Guess what? That didn’t work either. Took it back to them and said it could be the GPU. So I went to the South Melbourne store being closer to my house. Sent that in for diagnostics. Three weeks later I still don’t have any updates. After several phone calls and little information I find out my graphics card was back in store from testing on “Tuesday” and that nothing was wrong with it. So drive all the way down to pick it up, however the GPU was still in the warehouse because it missed the morning delivery and won’t be here till “the next delivery on Thursday”. (Also coped a $95 parking fine because my quick pick up turned out to be 30 mins of them trying to find it.

Further more, I asked them to diagnose my actual system since it has already taken this long. This was estimated “2-3 days”. It has been a week now and still no information. Few calls later I find out there is only one person running the service department in South Melbourne and no work has been done to my system. They recommended I transfer my system to Rowville to reduce the wait time.

So here I am waiting for for some kind of update on what they are going to do with my system as they still haven’t come up with a solution.

I work in retail and completely respect the pressure they have to go through. I am usually a patient person however this is unacceptable. No updates, information, organisation and lastly ETA.

Unfortunately two bad experiences from two different stores, Centrecom might be a better option next time.

Parking is very hard to get, staff inside are great and helpful. I wish there was more on display for such a big showroom but it was still great inside and got what I needed easily

Nov 2022 update. There is not enough sales staff working, always longs queue even during weekdays. Walked out twice. They don’t respect their customers time.

Prices are competitive and it’s better to support a local store rather than Amazon. All the parts I wanted were stocked. They can sometimes get busy and you may need to wait in a queue so consider this when paying for parking.

It is my few interactions at scorptec and i can tell you the setup they have is just bad. Long queue and poor customer service.
I would prefer centrecom as they are quick and store has wide lobby so customer can choose products and browse on their convenience.
Scorptec should change their way of doing business.
Extremely disappointed as it wasted my 30 mins being in queue for a tiny product.

This company reminds me very much of a company we worked with in Germany. Efficient, fast and reliable. Most of all, the communication is topnotch. If you have problems whatever, communicate and these guys will support and deliver. We have worked with many in this Country, these people are the best!

They are an exceedingly good IT store. I've got all my IT requirements there for over 10 years, now. They have never disappointed and I do shop around first.

Very poor experience.
Spent about $10k setting up my trading computer from this shop and can't even get a call back when the system is running slow after another upgrade.
Called the shop and left multiple messages.
Emailed the store.
Left messages on the "Help" section of the website for a call back.

No answer.
Avoid this place like the plague as you wont receive help afterwards when the system isn't running correctly.
