I recently invested in the Elgato Green Screen MT with high hopes of enhancing my video conferencing experience on platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom. The product promises seamless integration and superior background results. However, despite numerous hours spent perfecting lighting and camera configurations, the results have been consistently below expectations.

Scorptec, where I purchased the green screen, suggested the discrepancies might be rooted in software post-processing. However, as a consumer, my primary concern is the end result, which in this case, was unsatisfactory. When making a significant investment in a product, one expects it to function effectively within its intended parameters. Sadly, this was not my experience with the Elgato Green Screen MT.

To potential buyers, while the product is well-built and easy to set up, the performance might vary depending on your software and settings. Do thorough research and possibly explore other options before committing.

I found like others here say, they don't have stock. I even checked their web site before I left.
Tried to call before I left, like others say here they didn't answer their phone.
Drove there, none in stock - order it on line. Told them if I need to order it I can order it cheaper on line.

Helpful, knowledgeable staff. They answered all my questions and made the shopping process quick and efficient.

The guys here are super helpful. Sometimes gets busy though so it's faster to click and collect if you can.

Ordered online and picked up my goods an hour later. Friendly staff, and hassle-free transaction.

Never again buying anything from here, I went in to buy a project, online and I called them on the day they said they had it in stock. Went there they said no we have to order it and apparently they don’t take cash too. After I pick it up 3 days later took it home used it once or twice then went to use it and the sound wasn’t working it was so low I could barely even hear anything though the built in Chromecast speaker took it back to them where Andrew put thought a return report they took it off me on the 30 September to do check to see if there is anything wrong Daniel Crockett email me saying it fine and all is working then I told him check on Chromecast he then email back saying oh correct it’s not working then never email me again called the store 10 each day no answer but when I called to buy they answered straight away still to this day 8/11/2022 2 month waiting and got no answer about my 1.3k project

Returns process is still excellent, will keep using Scorptec for my purchases.

Division of doors to use could be better signed.

A large store with plenty of display items, including lots of chairs to try, although I wouldn't recommend any "gaming chairs" but at least you can sit on them to understand why.

The staff have been friendly and helpful every time I've visited, it can get crazy busy though so if you know what you want you should order online and pick it up when it's ready.
Either that or be patient and considerate.

Absolutely horrible service. Needed a repair kit, Close to closing time. I called several times on the way without answer. Traffic wasn't great and a call finally got through a few minutes before closing. I told them I was only a minute or two away, and what I was after. I pulled up at closing time. Lights were on but no answer at the door. I waited for a little bit and saw staff exiting. Incredibly poor service. Had they answered the phone at any of the previous times I called, had they stayed just one minute longer, even if they'd said - a minute before I arrived - "sorry, but we're closed" - these would have been better options. Instead you wasted my time and every other store is now closed so I'm stuck with broken equipment. Thanks for nothing

Good IT supplier.just make sure you park at Scorptec. NOT 897 Wellington Rd next door, as that is not Scorptec!

Parking spots at front of Scorptec say Reserved.they have forgotten to remove the Reserved since changing the pick-up point.other than that, very pleasant experience!

We asked Scorptec to build us a PC and they produced a very professional result. The cable management alone was excellent (see pic). I am PC illiterate so the fact that everything worked seamlessly is, to me, awesome.
Well done Scorptec - we'll be back:)

If you’re looking for service you’re heading to the wrong place. The Customer service is dead set rubbish, now whether they had people off or similar I’m not sure, but waiting 45 mins for service 2 days in a row is appalling. Especially when you see extra staff walking around the rear areas doing very little. It’s just ridiculous to the point customers were walking out as I did the first day.

I'd stay away from this store. The only phone line that they seem to be able to answer is the 'New Sales' line. So if you have a warranty issue, just connect through to them that way. If you are looking to be refunded for a faulty product, you will be issued with store credit and then the onus is on you to turn that credit into a refund. Poor communication via email. The only emails that come though seem to automated ones.

Excellent customer service!

I bought some components from the online store which had a minor issue with them. I was able to walk into the Rowville store and had them repaired within an hour for no cost. The staff on the phone and in store were polite and helpful. Thank you, definitely coming back!
