Food wasn’t bad. Shame it was ruined by some druggies on the balcony smoking the devils lettuce. There was kids inside!

Sandy Hotel. Cake and Coffee $10/$15. Name something better. Oh wait I can! Tank beer! THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB!

Love the Sandy Pub. An extensive range of lovely meals available. Competent and friendly staff.

A group of us made a reservation for dinner over the phone and was told we could book for 7.30pm on Good Friday, when we arrived we were told there was no reservation and to just sit anywhere their were alot of available tables.
The rest of our group arrived at around 7.45pm and were told we had to order immediately because the kitchen was closing then once we finished our dinner we were told the restaurant was closing earlier because it was quiet and we had to move to their gaming area!

The worst experience I have ever had the staff were rude and had no customer service skills what so ever and just couldn't care less!
I'm a local and would often go there but I WILL NEVER go there again!
Very disappointing

Surprisingly good pub food. Tasty fish tacos (could use some spicing up though), good chargrilled steaks, crunchy fish and chips, and a very tasty Buddha bowl. Easy to order at the table, and fast, friendly service. We will be back!

Nice place with a great view. Room is clean and tidy, Walking distance from the beach, restaurant has nice food.
The only drawback is the stairs so might not be suitable for people who can't manage stairs.

Huge venue with a balcony outdoor area. Gorgeous. I like that there was an area with tablets for kids to play with. The food was good. But.when we were seated, the water glasses on the table were all dirty and never were offered any water for the table, so I placed the dirty glasses on the ground. When we walked in, there was also a fry on the floor and when we left it was still there. Yes, it was busy but honestly, is it that difficult when you are walking around just to bend down and pick up that fry? Not a big deal, but this is all I remember. Nice place maybe don't go on a Sunday or a time when they are busy.

Have been having valentines day at Sandy for 5 years now as well as supporting them through COVID lunches and dinners all that time tonight spoiled the night for my partner and me although the meal was ok no effort from staff to ensure a good night for us no effort to communicate how our meals were mine was short chips when asking ignored ask manager no longer going back much better around very very disappointed end of rant.

Awesome service and food. Great for families and small children are looked after really well.

Dining room is pleasant and full of natural light and has nice views of the bay.

Lovely staff very friendly. Food was good but not a great deal of choice.

Went to Sandy's grillhouse for drinks and lunch. The area outside in balcony was nice. The food was good. Service was a bit slow though.

Very disappointing they are not providing any senior meals will not be coming back till seniors meals reinstated cannot afford 70dollars for 2people on a pension.

We must have gone on the wrong day.
The fish and chip meals were poor quality, half the plate was made up of over cooked chips and the salad was soggy. One of our diners had steak which he thought was ok, but same problem with the chips and salad.
The waitress was polite and apologised.

Went for Xmas lunch it was pretty ordinary. The kids meals were pathetic, lots of healthy stuff, carrot sticks & like, nor much choice & lots of potato so my 6 grandchildren virtually only ate desert. Tried to get a bowl of chips for them but they couldnt do as had got xmas meals catered for. That brings me to the adult meals which took ages to bring out & were very ordinary. Turkey was a plate of ham. Desert was okay put pretty small serve. Meal took 4 hours & 4 bottles of wine & umpteen beers so we were nearly crawling by the time we had finished.
Strongly suggest new caterers or do themselves as done previously.
Best part was father xmas he did a great job & they kids loved him.

Food, service and prices were excellent……. Cannot fault. Staff were attentive, helpful and friendly.

** WARNING ** DO NOT………I repeat DO NOT park your expensive sports car in the undercover car park. The gradient of the driveway is deceptive and my cars undercarriage was badly scrapped leaving the car park. I was extremely careful going up the ramp……if I wasn’t I would have ripped off the front spoiler! Any car with low profile tyres would incur the same consequences. I wish there was a warning sign erected, but alas none!

We were able to book a table after the kitchen was closed and there was no warning that the kitchen was closed so we turned up with out being able to order food. To add insult to injury they sat us at a table without enough seats to sit everyone even though they knew how many people would turn up.

Didn't like the QR menu ordering system rather have a menu to look at. Specials not on QR menu anyway

Miss the karaoke that used to happen in the old days but perhaps was there on the wrong night! Great time and great food as usual though, love the sandy pub!

Bit disappointing. Limited menu and some selections sold out, further limiting meal choices. Problem with online ordering - buffering caused double ordering/charges but staff helpful in trying to sort out with refund
