Great old school pub fare, top steaks. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because they got rid of the pool table, what happened?

What a ripper. Great local, great parking, superb meal. Travelled up from Portland, booked sight unseen and could not have found a better pub. Go There and enjoy.

On one the most honest, authentic and seriously enjoyable hotels in Victoria. The traditional hotel cuisine should get a Michelin Star. If you are a steak lover you should go here) The best bit is that staff are amazing. Many good places to dine and enjoy in Ballarat. This place ranks amongst the best.

Last week, we visited this lovely establishment and enjoyed a delicious parma and Sunday roast. The hearty food with great sides and the authentic old-style atmosphere took me back to the pub dinners of my childhood. We will be back again soon!

Came here for dinner after visiting Sovereign Hill small and cozy dining area was packed with friendly staff, had a great Sunday lamb roast and some good beer on tap. Recommended

Wow this hotel never changes. It is Wonderful. The meals are great and the atmosphere is awesome. It's a great little hotel. Keep it up.

OMG the best chicken Kiev in ballarat. Staff are lovely. Serves is fast. Will be back for more.

Had a delicious meal here today. There was 17 of us and our meals were delivered promptly and hot. Everyone loved their meals and service was excellent

Great country feel pub with a good atmosphere and hearty, good sized meals (makes sure you are hungry!)

Extremely poor experience. I ordered the pork roast and not only was the pork really dry, but the entire dish was absolutely drowned in watery gravy. This made the vegetables soggy and inedible. The dish came with apple sauce but given all I could taste was gravy, I didn't see the point. This, and the Yorkshire pudding was burnt and soggy so I didn't even bother eating it.

All that for $25? Definitely want my money back.

Very descent take on the Parma with Avocado!

Lovely food at reasonable prices.

I felt a little bit cramped, and staff seemed rushed off their feet.

All in all, a decent place for a meal and I would go again.

We were looking forward to enjoying a great parmy.unfortunately we were served over cooked veggies and chicken that tasted like processed chicken.very disappointed.

Food delight as usual. I had a serve of scallops for a entree me and wife shared.left plate between us then bang staff member walked past grabbed the plate with everything and disappeared into the kitchen with I jumped up my wife don't cause a seen she looked stressed was on table five.

Great food (highly recommend the chicken schnitzel), owners were so lovely and accommodating and overall great vibes. Would recommend checking it out if your in the area - I'll be back!

My partner & I are doing the rounds of all the pubs in Ballarat for a nice meal. This by far has been the Best for me, I had the Schnitzel with Seafood & it was absolutely scrumptious. The meals were great sized good old fashioned pub fare. We definitely will be back that's for sure.
