Expensive but worth it for a fling,
food *****, accommodation **** with a great view of mount abrupt.

Nice ambiance and delicious food. Nice tap beer and wine collection. Bit expensive, but only option available in Dunkeld.

Went on a Sunday without realising they would be closed. A lady at reception was quite rude and abrupt when we knocked on the front door to ask for clarification on whether just the hotel was closed or the pub as well. Disappointing

There restaurant Wickens was superb. In particular the dessert was absolutely awesome. Overall it was a terrific meal and experience and I would be happy to go back again

Had an amazing stay in one of the cottages. Location was magical and extremely relaxing and hotel staff and brasserie in particular made our stay warm and welcoming. Will definitely come back as the landscape and hikes nearby are well worth the trip.

The Royal Mail is a special place. It feels like you are stepping into the Grampians, but with amazing food, wine and experiences along the way. Everything they do is so intentional and full of care for place, people and purpose.

Fabulous food. You have to try the Dégustation its always a treat. They have a great selection of wines and local spirits too.waiters are knowledgeable and give excellent service

What a lovely hotel and quite unexpected for a small town. Beautiful and a very nice dark ale on tap

Wonderful place to just relax and unwind. The wood fire in the lounge was just what we needed. Room was perfectly heated too. Terry was a wonderful host who never let our fire go out.she was kind enough to help us get the fire done every time. Loved the breakfast hamper. Loved the accommodation and the view outside our window, they should definitely add some casual food to their menu too.

Sadly the food wasnt hot or fresh. Very disappointing for the price. Wonderful view and attentive service.

Ordered the pumpkin dish and surprised to get a plate with a very large chunk of roast pumpkin on it, sprinkled with toasted pepitas and a very small amount of goats cheese and parmesan. Found there was a lot of pumpkin and not much flavoring to go with it. Very over priced for what we got. Also ordered hot chocolate and coffee both of which were very bitter. The meal was redeemed by delicious desserts of apple tart & the pannacotta. Service was good but it was very quiet.

Went to the parker street section, really nice clean food, serving sizes werent too bad, pork belly was a little dissapointing, sounded better than it was! But omg the vegemite butter is so simple yet amazing!

We stayed at the cottages and couldn't be happier. Cosy place to stay with amazing views. The staff were fantastic, with excellent service and they were super friendly and helpful. The food at the Parker Street Project and the Wickens in particularly was very good. Would happily return.

Very good. Considering its in the middle of nowhere in a small town I was surprised by the quality of the wait staff and the food out if the kitchen. The food was great and well priced to. The town is a bit rubbish but is gateway into the Grampians. Well worth a visit even from halls gap if in Grampians area.

We were lucky to get a table on Wednesday without booking. It was a birthday/engagement dinner which we couldn’t imagine to be more memorable! All the staff were efficient, polite and accommodating. The food was outstanding- presentation, quantity and creativeness in matching flavours.
I really appreciate dessert that came with a candle and a toast of champagne. Very very worth the money! Can’t wait to be back

Very expensive but not even have any room service.floor making noise while walking on the floor.charging too high price but not good quality room except the view.installed a small TV that have no Netflix only FoxTV that you can’t see any updates. Flash light beside the bed keep blinking.air conditioning not good at all also toilet flash not working properly.

The food was rated higher than 3 stars, but some elements of the service let down the overall experience. The discovery of a hair in one of the dishes was ignored by staff with not a word in reply. Food and wine were excellent so it was a pity that the overall experience was not as good

Absolutely amazing! The waiters are so professional and the prices are worth the meals you receive. Best place to go to for a lovely meal to share with great company. Will come back for sure! Highly recommend!:)
