Great team, always friendly and more than happy to help with whatever you need. The place is always clean and inviting aswell

Main meal was lovely (rump steak) cooked perfectly and reasonably priced. Dessert with side pot of canned cream instead of dollop of fresh cream -

Royal hotel is the best hotel, best food and welcoming worker with such of smiling faces And also cheap normal beers start at $4 dollars so come and join families and friends

Great place to chill or catch up with friends. Restaurant is very good and plenty of outdoor smoking area is nice. Pokies area is nice with good latest machines. Overall a great day n night out for all the family. Nice 5 Stars all day. Thank you.

Wendy needs to learn how to speak to costumers, i have never dealt with someone who is so dismissing/condescending to people, thumbs up to the rest of the staff but if you deal with WENDY, LOOK OUT!

Staff are mostly new to the venue and are very keen to please punters which is a great change for the venue as I had been a regular visitor pre co-vid lockdown and was very pleased to see the results of a change of staff

Wonderful veggie burger and excellent flourless pear cake. Beautifully finished and decorated hotel. Great service

Friendly staff well priced food. Indoor seating and dining only. Well spaced venue for indoor dining no cramped tables.

First Pub meal and Draught beer since Feb, thanks to COVID. Never tasted better.
Sadly only 10 allowed in at a time right now, but this will change soon.

AMANDA should be commended as she is extremely hardworking and has very strong client focus. Amanda is the reason we travel 45 minutes to dine at The Royal. She is a true asset to The Royal. Amanda always exceeds our expectations on ever visit. She's amazing how she is doing a million things at once and never looks stressed. She is always on the ball.
My son is turning 20 next month and wants to go to The Royal Because of Amanda.

Anywhere that serveds oysters Kilpatrick is a winner in my book! Great mains and staff were a bonus. Good prices too

Unfortunately their pre-battered frozen seafood is substandard. Freshness was not on the pallet

I ordered their chicken royal. Don't make the same mistake I did. We won't be back, all meals cane out tasting like they had been fermenting the sun for a day and reheated. Chips were old, dry and oily, which meant they tasted hard. The parma tasted like it was a reheat job and the chicken royal with the white wine and mushroom sauce was not edible. Chicken was dry as the sole of a shoe and tasted like what I would imagine the sole of a shoe would rate like. All very disappointing. I let the waitress know when she cleared our plate and rightfully asked what i didn't like about it and at the end said that if I would have let them know earlier they could have given me a discount or credit for next time. She could see that I hardly ate anything, I tried because I didn't want to waste our money but couldn't. It was aweful sic is a real shame because this was our first time to visit and somewhere we would have looked forward to returning.

The food was cold. The Fish was pre packaged and still cold. Complaint was made at the time. With the response of Sorry you should have said something earlier. At $36 this should not of occurred in the first place. Why would a hotel sell pre packaged Frozen food in the first place at that price. An elderly gentleman who had been living in the area and going there for over 30years said he won't be going back. It has deteriated in the food area

Great food and atmosphere. Lots of people made it loud but you could see the happiness of everyone there.

Some guy brought a Sherman tank to the royal on a Friday, right when the free snacks came out at 5: 30pm best night I had ever had. Got a delicious Parma too. Perfect night to spend with the hubby xxx

Racist and rude staff. Waited 20min for coffees only to have half of our order made. Never have we felt more unwelcome since we weren’t “Aussie” looking. All eyes were on us and judging us, we felt like we didn’t belong and how dare we enter this place. Food was also terrible and tasteless.

Nice place to have dinner, manageress was resourceful to cope with entry of big group without any booking

Great pub atmosphere. Food is pretty good. They have pool tables which is always a huge plus and the live bands arnt so bad

Very High Quality Meals, The bistro is a great place to have a calming low key gathering or just a relaxing dinner.
