The customer service is great. The girls were very nice and helpful. The venue is very nice and decorations are outstanding. Unfortunately for the price you pay the food is below average. Woks and Grills are small and the flavour was just missing. And the Grapefruit mocktail which sounds delicious was the worst thing I've ever had as a drink. It tasted like balsamic vinegar. This was my first time and I can't see myself going back.

Really cool space and location with very great customer service. Had a fantastic lunch here. Maybe a little expensive but pretty similar to other restaurants designed around sharing and share plates.

How is rice queen getting such high reviews? The flavour of their food tastes almost like they are trying way too hard to be something they're not.

It just wasn't authentic Asian food the way they boast, almost fusion but even then it wasnt good. Service was the best thing about the place so 2 stars!

What a fabulous open venue with bright, vibrant colours filled with flowers and plants! An amazing menu with smaller and larger share plates, there's so much to choose from, plenty of seafood options - fish, prawns, squid - and meat like chicken, duck and pork belly and some vegetarian options, like green papaya salad and tofu tacos.

It's a true Asian fusion, tastes of Korean, Thai and a mix of Asian flavours. The litre jug of lychee cocktail is superb and fresh and the food is so delicious I can't wait to go back again!

Super cute place for a drink with a great atmosphere and very lovely staff. The kitchen had closed when we got there, which was a bummer, but otherwise great place, great drinks.

Just some feedback from the weekend. (Sat 5th Oct)

I booked a table for 7 people at 6: 30pm and was informed that I would get a full 2hrs for my dining experience.

Upon arrival, we waited 15mins for menus to then be told that if we order the banquet we can't order a single meal on its own for someone who had allergies even when we were ordering a banquet for 6 people. (the minimum states on the menu 2 people).

We were then told that the person with allergies would be catered for. To which, they didn't deliver. She stated that she was Coeliac (gluten intolerant) and allergic to chilli.the waiter then presented a colliflower bathed in chilli powder, there was no way to remove the chilli from the sauce in the main meal (lamb shank dish) and the potatoes were cooked in the same oil used to deep fry gluten products.

My friend left hungry because all she could eat was the salad and San choy bao and STILL paid 55$ for her meal.

Not only that, at 8: 05pm the waiter came to our table and offered us a "doggy" bag for our left over meals, when we were in the middle of eating, and stated that he needed the table at 8: 15pm. We informed him that we booked over the phone and was told that we had 2 hours as it was a birthday dinner and yet, he still demanded that we leave the table because he "needed the table".

I am disgusted in the level of service provided especially when our table combined paid a total of $475.00 to then have been rushed out without finishing our meal.

I will be going public with this review so that other people are aware that your 2 hour timeframe is false advertising and that you do not cater for people with allergies.

Ordered the Korean Fried Chicken. Was ok, the batter was on point, however the let down was the chicken was dry: (. Ordered the pork and prawn dumplings, these were fire! Absolutely amazing and great tasting! Sadly we also ordered the Crispy Fish Salad, which consisted of metric tonne of mint leaves and coriander and really not much fish. I really couldn't get past the extreme amount of mint that was used as the base of the salad, as well seeing as the "Crispy Fish" is the headline of the meal item maybe make that the star of the dish? If I really wanted to order a full bush of mint leaves I could've gone to my local farmers market. The interior was well done and vibey, however with 2/3 of the dishes not being up to standard of the pricing I can't give any greater feedback: (. Plenty of more value priced and hearty meals on and around Brunswick Street.

Pretty average green curry with a few stumps of broccoli, no other substancial ingredients.
Siracha potatoes weren't great either. All in all very bland, service was meh. Will try again in a year or so.

Was here for dinner.
Staff were actually fantastic and the place looks pretty cool.
Absolutely great Asian deco vibes. Full marks for staff and vibes.
However food was small and prices for food and drinks quite expensive.
Was surprised that the San choi bao placed on our table was meant to be for 5 people when it looked barely enough for one person.
Other dishes were potatoes and chicken wings.
Says Asian fusion, but didn't spot an Asian chef or service staff all night.
After dinner went to local maccas to fill up.
Would say great place to take someone on a date if you knew they had an Asian fetish and not a big eater and you had some extra cash.

Melamine plates, overpriced low-quality food, plastic flowers.kitsch atmosphere.what else you want!
We had fried chicken (heavy, greasy) and we had broccoli with green sauce: boiled brocoli served with sauce.nothing special and these dishes were 22-25 dollars.

Fantastic food. Our favourite was the crab fried rice - so much tastier than you expect fried rice to be! Would recommend not being tempted by the convienence of the banquet - order your own (we found this was cheaper, got to pick our own dishes and got heaps of food!).

Solid portions of extremely tasty food! Lots of vegan, gluten and fructose free options. The staff were really friendly. The only thing I'd fault is that the tables at the front were really small, so it was hard to manage. Would still return!

I actually love this place, the relatively harshe review comes after a visit with a group where we were offered a banquet style feed-me option. Great idea and I feel like I've had it before & loved it, this time around though, the amount of food for the 10 of us felt scarce, we each got approx 2-3 pcs of fried chicken, 2-3 dumplings & 1/2 a bowl of lamb shank curry with rice to share, which didn't feel like enough to charge $40 per person, plus drinks & desert (don't get me wrong, the food was all delicious!) just need to adjust either the price of that option, or the quantity served. No shade tho, great place & I'll probably still be back.

The staff were so nice and friendly to let me take photos for a media project. The vibe was just so nice and relaxed, the decor is really aesthetic and they had the best Asian-fusion food

Yay for a groooovy Bangkok vibe. The food was ok. But the service. Give me a break. If you want to go somewhere and be treated like they are doing you a favor by providing any kind of decent service, this place is a hoot.

Rice Queen has a pretty cool interior design and aesthetic with components mostly of Chinese and Japanese influence. Nice atmosphere of a casual and fun restuarant.

The menu is has a good variety of Asian cuisines and dishes. The Korean fried chicken is delicious, as was the drunken noodles.

Wasn't very impressed by one of the cocktails, the yuzu spritz, but it was still enjoyable. Service had a very casual approach which can be nice for an experience for catching up with friends but no so much for a more formal or business based occasion.

Good food, okay service, enjoyable atmosphere.

Superb food, great venue with ambience galore. Stop in for a quick drink and a nibble or bring a few friends for a long delicious night of food and cocktails. The menu is unique and caters to anyone's taste and food requirements. Many dishes are vegan and FODMAP optional. Service is friendly and professional. Love this place.
