RACV Goldfields Resort

Great accommodation! Rooms are well-equipped and beds are comfortable, although the pillows didn't hold their plushness for long and ended up being uncomfortable. If you need anything more than a flatter pillow, maybe bring your own.
Pool and spa are always clean, and the buffet breakfast is full of delicious options.
The resort is only 15 mins from the middle of Ballarat.
Will be back again!

Huge RACV facility set around a golf course in Creswick. Good walks and plenty of kangaroos grazing.

This is quite simply the best place to stay when in Ballarat. Beautifully appointed rooms, fantastic friendly and efficient service.just love staying here!

Stayed for our wedding anniversary, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of bubbles on ice upon our arrival! Room was lovely, clean and quiet, dinner in the restaurant was excellent, service and staff were just lovely! Great breakfast too! This was our second stay here and we will now make our visit an annual event - maybe stay longer next time.

Friendly staff, consistently decent food but despite an obviously expensive refit, still rather devoid of character and atmosphere.

Spent a great weekend away with the family here; really spacious rooms, a great breakfast buffet and the golf carts are so much fun! I wouldn't hesitate to go here again.

Very disappointing. Pro shop staff were very uninterested and seemed to have little idea on how to operate a golf course, time sheets, or even giving instructions (Where to go, if clear to play or not), nor up selling a bucket of balls for the range which I wouldn't know existed if I hadn't been to Creswick Golf Club before.
Very poor signage. Did not know which car park to go to, and given new works, didn't know how to get to the Pro shop. Ended up parking in a cleared grass area.
The course felt very amateurish, as if all the greens staff felt all that is needed was water (in the middle of summer, ground and greens were wet and muddy. Ball would plug in the greens) and mowing to make a quality golf course. Have seen many, many volunteer golf courses in much better quality, even around the Goldfields region.
Given the quality of RACV Cape Shanck, was expecting much better quality and massive course improvements for the first time visiting Creswick since the RACV took over, certainly not downhill.
