RACV Goldfields Resort

Staff were nice, food at the restaurant was very good, had a stain on my bed sheets that I didn’t create, informed the staff and they promptly changed it.

One of the best accomodation here.
Staff are nice and welcomes you. Our room has a balcony.
The best was its buffet breakfast spread. Love it. Ontop of the Free Parking and Wifi.

The resort is very family friendly and has everything to entertain the kids and adults. There provided school holiday activities too!

The room we stayed was very spacious with 2 king size beds, still plenty of room for kids to run around. Spectacular views to the golf course and able to see some kangaroos at dusk. Would be nice to have a microwave inside the room to warm up some milk since there is a Nespresso machine in our room.

My family and stayed her for 3 night. The perfect place to bring your kids. The indoor playroom is lovely for the kids, it’s has books, toys, activities a comfy couch for the parents to sit on while they watch the children play. The outdoor playground is beautiful. Lots for them to climb and do. The indoor outdoor pool area is lovely as well with a spa for those cold days to enjoy. They’re downstairs dining room for dinner and buffet. Breakfast offers a decent amount of food. But if you don’t feel like dining downstairs, they have the bar menu which you can order food and take back to your room or sit on the couches with your family and watch the kids play in the end your playroom.
The rooms are well-maintained and plenty of room for a family of four or five. There are also adjoining rooms for bigger Families. If you hold an R A, CV membership or have an RACV card, you can use this and receive a discount as well. We very much enjoyed our stay there.

5 start service, springs bar and Terrance should change its name to Cheetah’s bar and Terrance! Without a doubt worlds best bar tender! Whatta legend best cocktail matched with a sense of humour what more could you ask for? Don’t pass up!

Fantastic facilities, spotlessly clean huge rooms, fabulous food, beautiful grounds and their incredible staff. Can't wait to return.

It was our 51 anniversary and we were treated like royals. The restaurant had a function so they set us up in the "bistro" (the Springs) with a view and restaurant meal. Which was excellent. Room was great as well.

Venue was nice and clean, only complaint the bar ran out of beers a couple of times, otherwise a nice stay

Went to RACV to inspect before making a booking. Excellent rooms and facilities. Will definitely recommend.

We had the fairway suite with spa. Beautiful views and watched the kangaroos congregating in the evening.
Service was great as usual with RACV resorts. Large heated to 27 degrees outdoor pool was enjoyed daily as was the spa.
Nice township and a little drive to Daylesford

Exceptional service by the staff all-round very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend RACV Goldfields resort. The food at the restaurants was amazing and the rooms were nice, clean and spacious.

Took my wife and 2 kids out to the hotel for a 2 night break. Booked a 2 bedroom family room which was nice. The rooms were nice but door handle on one room was broken and tv missing from the kids room which was an inconvenience when you have 2 kids that want there own space. There was a TV mount on the wall with no TV. For $800 was a bit disappointing. Would think twice about staying again purely on the value for money.

RACV Goldfields Resort easily lives up to expectations.
The staff are welcoming and the overall service is very good.
We had an upstairs room with a balcony which overlooked the golf course at the back of the resort. A wonderful view! There are even some old gold mines out there.
Breakfast offered all the usual RACV options and they even made us some Hollandaise sauce to go with our Eggs Benedict.
We dined at Three Founders restaurant one night for dinner. The wait staff were terrific. Most of the courses were very good but the curried chicken dish just didn't work. The flavour combinations were not compatible. Otherwise, the overall dinner was great.
This wonderful resort is situated just out of the town of Creswick and within a leisurely drive of many towns and attractions in the region. Historic Clunes is just one of the nearby fascinating towns.
We visited in November 2021.
Once RACV Goldfields opens again, we will be sure to return.

Sadly we had a really awkward encounter at the RACV as we were turned away in January 2022 as they discriminate against unvaccinated. Very disappointing.

Racv canceled my booking 3 days prior to the Christmas holiday as the resort wasn't ready.
They wouldn't offer a replacement accommodation in any other resort until I asked.then they wanted to charge me twice the amount.their customer service is embarrassing and useless.the central booking knows how to take money but doesn't know how to solve problems and has no care for guest's plans and holidays arrangements despite having several resorts across Victoria.
Very disappointed.

No matter how much nice things I say about this place it's not enough! With a family of 4 kids, WE ALL LOVE THUS PLACE! Budget friendly, service is just unbelievable, the staff are the most amazing bunch and always greeting u and helping! The kids activities on the holidays is brilliant!
When we go here we don't need to go anywhere else, the walking tracks, the basketball court, the swimming pool and in room jacuzzi! We have been here 3 times and look forward to many more family holidays here. 100/100 THANK YOU RACV GOLDFIELDS RESORT!

Clean and neat facilities. We stayed in the main building which all facilities are located at. Considering the number of rooms, the pool seems small. But if you bring your bike, there are lot of exciting tracks, of course the golf course is the main attraction.

Good facilities in the resort.
Most of the staff are friendly with few exceptions which is fine and in line with any other hotel.
Excellent restaurants (Springs bar and, three founders). Taste and hygiene of the food was excellent.
Nice view of golf course from room, could also see kangaroos and rabbits from the balcony of the room.
Unlike other reviews on cleanliness, I would take one star just for this. The carpets were dirty in almost entire resort. The room cleaning also was not very good except just tiding up messed room.

Excellent staff and excellent hospitality at an affordable rate. It was our 6th visit that says it all! They have a variety of holiday activities for kids from movies to scavenger hunt etc. Also the Springs Bar and Terrace offers kids menu.
